A fabulous golfing experience. The course is in great condition, has a few challenging holes and many not so challenging. The main attraction was the clubhouse with very friendly members and staff, without doubt one of the most welcoming clubs I have ever visited. The food was exquisite and not at all expensive.

This classic parkland course is situated just outside Uplawmoor on the border of East Renfrewshire and Ayrshire. I have played here for a number of years and still find it a great challenge week in, week out. Not the longest of courses but it will test every aspect of your game! Guests are welcomed with open arms and we can cater for large visting parties/societies.

I traveled to Scotland to find out a little about my ancestry. The Caldwell family name was that of my mother's side of our family. Although I can't speak much about the golf experience, I can say that the people there were very cordial and nice and were very willing to share information regarding what they knew about the Caldwell name. There were no golfers to be found, since the rain had begun and looked as though it was there to stay. I did see some of the course through the window, and it was very pristine. I think IF I were, a golfer, I'd certainly play at Caldwell Golf Club...

After a couple of days of heavy rain we were very surprised at how enjoyable this course was. No lying water and greens in excellent condition. This is a lovely course for visitors and members alike. Fun from the front tees and challenging from the medal tees.The food and reception in the clubhouse were comparable with the best we have received.Highly recommended.

Recently played a round on this challenging course which tested me however I thoroughly enjoyed it. The bar served a lovely meal afterwards with big portions. Criag the pro was very friendly and helpful, I will be returning and would consider becoming a member.
