信义大教堂（tuomiokirkko）

如果有到北欧,一定要去看下这历史建筑,像征芬兰伟大的建筑工艺,而市区电车偶尔穿梭广场前方,古意盎然,站在教堂平台上,看向广场及远方海平线,仿佛可以感受当年彼得大帝的风采

教堂就在城市海岸线不远处。湛蓝的天空中有几朵白云，蓝天下教堂雪白的墙壁搭配绿色的圆顶，偶尔还有海鸥飞过，真的是太漂亮了。教堂前面就是议会广场，周末下午有很多小商铺，卖吃的、旅游纪念品的都有，很热闹。

冬天造访白教堂，人们在教堂内举办各式音乐宗教活动，庄严肃穆，大雪纷飞；夏天拜访白教堂，气候宜人，有更多广场上人们的各式活动聚集，自由奔放的快乐充斥着各个角落，完全不同的感受，都非常值得一游。

“赫尔辛基之心”——这是此教堂的别称。对于冬季漫长的赫尔辛基来说，一颗雪白的心也非常应景。如果有蓝天相映，一定美极了。但是，我们去的时候，天气阴沉，拍出来的照片没有那么美。

这建筑是赫尔辛基的象征，坐落在较高的地方，从远处也能看到。从元老院广场看的样子很壮观。白色的墙和绿色的屋顶的颜色搭配的很好看。外面摆着希腊风格的柱，中心有圆塔。从外面看时觉得是方顶，到里面看，却像拜占庭建筑的圆顶。里面意外地很简朴，比想象的明亮。

古老的建筑，现代的风格。气势恢宏，是建筑史上的经典！路德派新教堂，绘画精美。每年还举办集体婚礼，在芬兰人民生活中的地位特殊可见一斑。

Worth visiting because this is the symbol of the city. Locals gather together and chill on the stairs in front of cathedral. Looked like a local meeting point.

With the Lutheran Cathedral elevated above the square below the view from the ground looking up is pretty amazing. I didn't get to go inside as it was closed but still well worth the visit.

It's one of the most visited places in Helsinki. It's very beautiful from outside but very simple from inside. To be honest, I was a little disappointed when I saw the cathedral by inside, it seems smaller than what seems from outside and it's not as beautiful as Uspenski Cathedral. However, you can take all the pictures you want and can't go to Helsinki without visiting the Lutheran cathedral.

Its a great landmark in Helsinki with beautiful architecture, but getting inside the cathedral is very plain and simple. But given tha nature of praying inside it is maybe the best. The view from this hight down to the city was great!

Very interesting church close to town centre. The organ is amazing (both to see and to listen to). Cannot spend a long time but worth 15 - 30 minute visit. Check opening times before going.

looking beautiful outide . but seems on sunday its closed. outside on the square the guy sell hot drinks and sweets:) would be nice to enjoy it in cold months,to get more energy to walk again:P nice area for walks as well.very cheap suvenir shop near by:P

Very beautiful arhitecture in the centre of the city! And when I was there with my family it's was a such a nice wether and sunny...

The Cathedral building is one huge impressive building.We were hoping to catch everywhere covered in snow when we visited in February, but the city had done a pretty good job of getting rid of all the snow by then. It's got a great view point, and when you stand in front and look down onto the square, you get a sense of how big it is.

You need to see the plainness of this building and the ornateness of Uspenski. This is as grand a construction but perhaps has a better setting above Senate Square.
