Its small museum in the old town, but its very compact and have lots of interested objects of medicine and pharmacy. Some of them are a bit creepy :)

As being interested in pharmacy and medicine I was more than glad to discover the treasure Kaunas has - this museum was just amazing and very interesting place to visit. The guide was most helpful and kept all attention of teenagers we had with us. Highly recommended if you have some interest in pharmacy or even for the general understanding and education.

Amazing museum, if you are visiting with local guide (they are in museum and the best one can speak English and Russian). Prime location in City hall square, very interesting 16-17th century cellars with real old relicts of pharmacy and medicine like very old medicine in original boxes, old distilery, skulls with trepanation signs, real shaman's tools, etc. But the most important - you have to take guide there - it'll be really unforgetable experience, because his intelligence, clothing and perfect sence of humor will be one of your best attractions in Kaunas!

Музей расположен в историческом центре. Находится частично в подвале, так что приготовьтесь пригибаться, спускаться и подниматься по ступеням.На входе встретил смотритель, в результате посещение прошло с индивидуальным русскоговорящим гидом. Посмотрел залы, посвященные истории медицины, прошелся по воссозданной старой аптеке. Во дворе музея стоят медицинские приборы разных лет.Во время экскурсии гид рассказывал про назначение тех или иных инструментов, открыл шкаф, где фармацевты раньше хранили яды и наркотики, показал банку со шпанскими мушками. Хотя и не интересуюсь медициной и фармацевтикой, посещение было очень интересным.
