This museum (in a beautiful setting by the river I might add) is great value for money given the vast amount of exhibits that are on display. There is everything from lawnmowers to sewing machines, sewing machines to push bikes, military motorbikes to stoves.... It is fascinating to see how a factory that started manufacturing firearms has evolved into the ubiquitous brand that you see today. I would ordinarily have minimal interest in this type of museum but I thought it was very interesting and very good value for money.

It was neat to see where the sewing machines, mowers and everything in between started. We even bought a little set of earrings to have turned into charms for the girls charm bracelets. A wonderful memento!

Located in old factory, with many exhibits cathing long story of Husqvarna. Really surprising. Free parking

Admittedly, I am a sucker for any kind of factory tour or industrial museum, so with the disclaimer out of the way... wow, what a place! This company is amazing for having dabbled in so many things, trying to catch the wave of consumer demand. The museum spans two large floors and while explaining the history of the company (almost 350 years) you will see an endless array of products they have manufactured over the years: rifles, sewing machines, bicycles, chainsaws, motorcycles, lawn care equipment, the whole range of household appliances including a very early microwave oven! It goes on forever and it is wonderful. Explanatory signage is extensive, in Swedish and English. Free parking. Entrance 60 SEK. Tours for groups only by advance booking. Highly recommended!

This museum is just totally fascinating and is a must visit if you’re anywhere nearby. The company Husqvarna have been in business for 325 years this year (2014) in the same location and this museum tracks this history of the companies products. From their start as a firearms manufacturer to making everything from sewing machines to bicycles to motorbikes to chainsaws and much more. They were the first company to try and market a domestic microwave but it was a flop as the market wasn’t ready yet and you should see the machine! Looks like something out of lost in space. They even dabbled in hot-dog vending machines. Go figure.Their collection of motorbikes is just astounding and if you’re into bikes it’s reason enough alone to visit but then there’s all of the sewing machines, chainsaws, brush-cutters, stoves, rifles and more. This company has just been so innovative, literally for centuries, that it will astound you. If you’ve an interest in any of their product categories, present or past, you’ll love it. If you’re into industrial design you’ll love it. If you’re into history you’ll love it. You get my point, it’s a real something for everyone museum. And probably give yourself a good couple of hours to really take it all in.

I went to visit the Husqvarna Motorbike Museum in the town of the same name in Sweden. Although I was there for the motorbikes it came as a great surprise to find that it was not only a bike museum but a Swedish Folk Museum covering everything than Husqvarna have made since the company was formed some 350 years or so ago. Very interesting place and well worth a visit, especially if you are interested in "Off Road Motorcycling" Only downfall was no coffee shop and the range of souvenirs was very disappointing.

Amazing history of this company! More than 300 years. Males me proud of working here as well... Inovated in all kinds of business and was always in the front of that!

The museum covered everything that Husqvarna has made since 1698 from guns through motorbikes to lawnmowers. Really worth a visit

Like: To be reminded of the versatility and complexity of the Husqvarna factories. The surroundings with the water tube is impressing.
