No trip to Warsaw would be complete without a trip down this lovely walking street ,thats just over 2 kilometre's long, taking in majestic building's,palace's,great restaurant's and bar's and is a great day out. When the weather is hot this route is truely busy ,so well worth the time to take a half a day to really enjoy it.
A lovely road with lots to see and buy its well worth half a day to walk its 2.5km. The presidential Palace is on route and lots of restaurants as well.
Locals suggest that anyone coming today only sees a shadow of Warsaw's heyday (the golden years of the 1920s-1930s). Here you get a whiff of what those times must have been like, particularly since you can extend your stroll up to the Old Town (Stare Miasto) or down to the walking street (Novy Swiat).
If you take a walk from the Castle Square to Three Crosses Square (Plac Trzech Krzyży) you can't miss KP. One of the main streets in downtown Warsaw with restaurants, hotels, the Presidential Palace, churches and the Warsaw University. You will enjoy your walk both in winter and summer.
Very spatious royal boulevard with a lot of grandeur. This road connects the old town with the Royal Palace. In Krakowskie Przedmiescie you will find some of the most beautiful buildings of Warsaw. The University of Warsaw, the Presidential Palace and lots of churches are located in this road. Wander around and enjoy the architecture. It's the lifeline of Warsaw.
Visit the historical castle, sit on Chopin's musical benches...a beautiful touch for the romantics. This is always the place to walk, visit the market beside the Royal Castle, pick up various local hand made goods(fur hats, sheepskins etc and edible delicacies)
Nice house , old bulding , a restaurant like in Paris, churches, cafes, bars simple -beautiful street, lots of shops
One of the most beautiful streets Of Old Warsaw, a part of the so-called Royal Route going from the Royal Castle to Łazienki and further to Wilanow. Plent of old houses, some churches, monuments. Warsaw University old campus, Fine Arts Academy, etc. After an extensive restoration works several years ago turned into a fine place for an afternoon Sunday walk. Cafes and restaurants all way long. A visit card of the City and definitely a must see. During Xmas time beautiful decorations and lightning.
All around this place you see beautiful things, i thought everything in Warszawa was lovely, even though, thinking of what went there 70 years ago left me with a heavy heart too. I think every pretty little thing one finds here is a testament to the polish people and their heritage. I particularly love all the different colors in the houses and how they all seem to merge to create a very lovely effect. I'm sorry i didn't get to have much time to visit, and also i visited in a cloudy rainy day, but i recommend visiting Warszawa to anyone with time. There are lovely cafes and restaurants close by, where you can try either more westernized or truly polish cuisine. Also from my own personal experience don't be afraid to ask for directions or other questions, polish are usually friendly.
Beautiful colorful old buildings. Full of live, lots of restaurants and pubs, delicious mulled wine and hot beer.
Great street, nice place to walk, nice buildings and still have New Year illumination and decoration mid January!
This is a really royal beautiful street and it leads to the royal castle. Lots of cafes are on the street and some of them are rather inexpensive.
A beautiful street with many points of interest. It was really nice to walk there. A nice way to the old town. Many nice building and sights. Take a look around for nice cafes.
Going to the old town of Warsaw you'll definitely enjoy walking through this street. A lot of important monuments and things are located.
Beautifully decorated street with Christmas decorations. Lots of nice shops and cafés along the route made for an enjoyable afternoon walk.
