We were unsure about how extensive and or professional this would be until we arrived and it was still unclear from outside. We arrived at lunchtime and decided to eat first and that was our only mistake. The only food vailable was poor fast food and definitely not recommended. After that everything just got better and better. The park has an extensive variety of animals (mostly cats but also Lemurs) and they seem very well looked after with really extensive enclosures where there is plenty of room to get some peace from visitors should they so wish. at the same time the viewing opportunities are outstanding and there are great photography opportunities. If you are at all interested in animals this is a great place to visit - highly recommended.

Our first impression of this park (while getting in) was not a 'wauw'-experience. Things looked a bit amateuristic, like a family run business. However when exploring the park we really appreciated the variety of species they have and the way they keep the animals. This is not a zoo but a hotel for big cats, trying hard to make them feel comfortable in a natural environment For kids it's like a game to try and spot the different animals in their large habitats. It's not that much a visit but it's an experience really. And a great one. We had a blast and our seven year old niece had the time of her life. She will remember this place more than Disneyland the day before. One minor letdown was the food. It was cold and not very tasty.

Le Parc des Félins is a wonderful place to visit and see many of the cats of the world. We were there August 23rd at 7 AM (They opened early this Saturday.) and slowly made our way around to every cat in the park over a five hour period, walking about four miles. The park is well laid out in three loops for African, American, and Asian cats. Most of the cats were readily visible and many of the cats were active in the early morning. Each enclosed habitat has numerous trees for shade, climbing, and housing of the cats. Because of their woody habitats and the fencing around the enclosures, photography was sometimes a challenge to obtain good photographs. If the cat is well away from the fence, the camera is close to the fence, and the sun light is at a good angle or it is a cloudy day, then good photos without the fencing obscuring the animal often can be obtained. For some enclosures, windows and towers above the fence-line allowed excellent views for unobstructed photographs. Two islands near the front of the park house the lemurs. These fascinating creatures roam freely on the islands where one can walk on the paved path among them. And there is a petting zoo of goats and sheep for the children.

We visited with our 2 year old son and he loved seeing the big - and small - cats. There's a great variety here, from multiple types of lion, a group of white tigers, leopards, panthers, jaguars, pumas. Every kind of big cat you can imagine. We got there for opening, 10am, and we were almost the only ones here. It's a big site so make sure you wear comfortable footwear. It took us around 2 hours to walk the africa and americas enclosures. We then called it a day in favour of lunch. Two tips.1. Don't plan to eat there. The food is terrible. Worse than a motorway service station. 2. The mini train doesn't run until the afternoon.

I usually kind of hate these places, seeing animals in cages. But in this park, the big cats have a lot of space to run around.Sadly the smaller animals are staying in big cages instead.Beautiful place. The only let down is the toilets in the middle of the park: no sinks to wash your hands.

Call me a snob, but often, wildlife parks that are off the beaten-track can be rather depressing affairs. We couldn't have been more surprised with le Parc des Felins - it was one of the best wildlife parks/zoos I have ever been to.When we arrived, we were told the usual amount of time to stay is around three hours - we were there from 11am to 5pm, and could have stayed longer. Staff were friendly and approachable, food was basic but tasty. The park itself is large - each group of cats has a very substantial enclosure, which is great for animal welfare, but it did feel as though you were a long way away from some of the animals when they were hidden at the rear of the enclosure. Did it spoil the visit? Not at all - these cats were happy and had space to run, rest, hide, etc.We were advised to visit on a day that wasn't too hot, which was a good plan - at the hottest parts of the day, the cats just sleep. The 4D film was unexpected - we went to see it twice - as were the goats (my kids cried when I told them we couldn't take one home!), and the island with the Lemurs was fantastic.Fabulous day out, great value for money, something for all the family. What more can I say?

Best zoo I have visited in a long time. They have a wide range of tigers and lions plus many other animals which are fascinating. They have a lot of space in comparison with other parks. Ofcourse I like it best, when animals live in the wild, but if that is not possible, then this is a good solution.

Firstly, we were greeted by a very sweet French girl who had excellent English but very little confidence that she did. She explained a few things about the park. You will then often see her and others going around the Park on a bike. They are all very friendly and more than happy to stop and help.Anyway, if you love Cats this is the place for you. What surprised me was that some of these wild Cats were smaller than the domestic Cat. And the sheer number of Cats was amazing. Also, the train ride was a welcome break as we had just spent 2 days walking around Disney. Had a nice meal in the restaurant area as well. However, also the Lemurs are great. Try and get there for feeding time, there is also a talk but it's only in French. However, there are always staff around that are happy to answer questions in English. It was great fun! Also, goats and extremely cute baby goats. There is more to this place than just Cats but for sheer variety of big and small cats I'm sure you won't find a better place. Also, this place has a focus on how to protect these amazing and often endangered animals. Full marks, great day out!!!!!

for a fun day out in nature this place is reccomended. lots of walking fresh air animals mainly felines.first of all we took the train that explains some things about the park and of earth. after we staretd walking, first of all taking pics with the sheep and goats and some type of monkey that come up near.the place recreates a near enviroment for big cats so you have to spend time searching in the fauna but it's worth it.food is ok and their is a gift shop.big parking and clean restrooms

Very good day out. Clean tidy zoo. Lots of space for the cats and other animals. Food in the cafe was reasonable price but tasty! Take a good pair of walking shoes as there is lots of walking between enclosures. You also get an English guide book.

We had a great experience taking the buses to reach this place. When we reach the stop, the bus driver was very kind to try his best to explain to us how to get the place. Quite a walking distance from the bus stop. But the view was breathtaking! Open fields! Blue skies! The park had a lot of locals visiting. The cats were superb! They had such big enclosures! The park is pretty huge and it was quite tiring to walk the whole place. Maybe they should provide rental of bikes to make it easier. There are no toilets at the enclosures. You have to walk back to the main building which takes you about 10-15minutes depending on where you are in the park.Overall, had a great time there. Especially watching the white tigers while having packed lunch! :)

We took the train (RER) from Paris and then caught a taxi to the Parc des Felins. It is a bit far from the city centre but I would recommend it if you love animals. There was an amazing range of cats, big and small. Some of the cats, we had never seen before. The animals had big enclosures. The Parc is divided into different regions of the world. It was a lovely walk around the Parc. The highlight of our day was Lemur Island, the lemurs are free roaming on the island. They are so cute and endearing. I could have spent hours there! The lemurs are very fun to watch. We had a really great day out at the Parc des Felins.

The park is very nice, lots of cats for viewing. It worths the ticket price! It's located pretty far from Paris, but it's accessible by public transportation (takes about 1-2 hours each way). It was a good experience!
