Only 12 km from Verona, there is an amusement water park Gardaland. You have to see it and feel. The staff is very friendly, speak English and German. The best is to buy tickets online to avoid queuing at the ticket office. Opening hours are from 10 am to 6 pm. We were at the opening and stayed until the closing. The park was full of people, which further reinforced the entire effect. The kids were thrilled as we are with the content of the park. There are plenty of adrenaline rides and recommendations is Raptor and the Blue Tornado. Phenomenal experience are the Mamut, Colorado and Jungle Rapids. In a word everything is great. There is plenty of shade to get some rest and lots of restaurants. Everything is very clean. We'll go again!!!
Compared to other water parks visited this is not good for safety awareness. The big water slide left me stuck part way down, bruised. There was little in the way of first aid and too few staff supervising.
It is great spot for amusment. Everybody should visit it. It is great for all ages. Atraction for several days. I suggest taking entrance card for three days. I like adrenaline and other atractions, service excelent.

I love Gardaland, I go almost every year. But every year I encounter the same problems. The traffic as you exit the highway is absurd and it takes close to an hour to get to the park itself. The entrance ticket is quite expensive and then if you don't want to stand in line at least an hour for each ride, you spend extra for the fast lane. All that for a couple of minutes of enjoyment per ride. Still enjoy it though.
We were there during Halloween weekend, so the lines were long. But the teens enjoyed the rides, especially the adrenaline ones. And the final parade too.

we went on Halloween weekend which was bad because the park was too busy. long lines.. overall the kids enjoed themselfs but the lines were too long
WE went to gardaland as a group of 3 in May 2014. We had an amazing time. There were 2 23 year olds and a 22 year old. The themed rides aramazing and we hardly qued for anything. Food was pretty standard and we paid 21 Euro each from our al fresco campsite for the entrance ticketts. We stayed just around the corner (but didn't realise it was so close so we got a bus from peschiera train station). The weather was sunny without being too hot and we navigated our way with ease (we had a map from the campsite again). Ibhavr visited other theme parks su ch as Alton towers and chessington work of adventures and paid mumuch more money and had far fewer rides. We were there for around 5 hours and went on over 10 rides. Including around an hour for lunch/gelato and snacks. All in all a very enjoyable experience and 2 of us are returning this year in May. We will definatley be getting yearly pass and going for a few days.
Park Gardaland is a great way to spend a day or few of your vacation or even a weekend- you can have a lot of fun, it is vast and with all kinods of attractions for people to d. A definite recommandation is to buy a special card for 10 or 20 euros extra so you won't have to wait in endless lines there sometimes can be found.
We were in Gardaland in September and to our surprise we didnt have to wait for too long for anything. The park in itself is nothing too special, your average theme park I would say. I totally fell in love with the rollercoaster "Raptor" though. The ride is nice and the Jurassic Park theme is phenomenal.I will go again if I am in the area.
i went before to eurodiseny paris & europark in germany ... they are better than garda land because in desiny they have nice show and shops and in europark have nice games .. but gardaland dont have special show or game so u cant say its waw ,, but in general its nice specially its THE BIGGEST IN ITALY and dont forget to take fast pass to save time and money.note :- there is near park 2 kilo (movie land) its small but realy have 3 amazing games i didnt see in any park :) so if u need game go to movieland but if u need big park and show go to garda land
This is a good park with rather good roller-skates. I recommend you to go in cloudy weather and not in public holidays. There wil be too many people, the lines will be very long. You can buy a special ticket for 50€ for standing less in lines, but it isn`t valid on some attractions. In midday, when more people arrived, the park workers began selling tickets for 3€ to ride once on something. So, another line appeared. It was also long.
