位于卡布里岛高处的安娜卡布里,可以搭乘俯瞰卡布里岛及远眺维苏威火山的缆车,这里的市集与咖啡馆很美,每个窗外的景都像是一幅画。

The Isle of Capri and Ana Capri is a must do for any Italy visit. A short hop from Sorrento by boat, you just will not believe the beauty. The quaint towns, villas, marinas are just so beautiful. The mountains, gardens, views are unparalleled. If you are hiking, then you are right at home. Steep climbs, paths, stairways to the top. You will love it. If you are not so inclined, then local busses will get you where you want to go. Don't just stay in Capri. Go up the hill to Ana Capri. The town is lovely. Great shopping and restaurants. This is the playground of emperors, so you will feel like Cesar (before he bit it, of course) and Cleopatra. Go, play, enjoy.

Have been to the Isle of Capri 2 times. Each visit was great seeing the Blur Grotto was a great time as the gondola drivers are very entertaining and fu I would recommend checking with your hotel and the local weather before traveling to the grotto. Views from the top of Mount Salerno are all fabulous.

We have visited the island a few times in our travels through Europe. What can I say, stunning! Lovely to wander the streets & take in the atmosphere. Definitely go up to Anna Capri views are amazing! Go over from Naples or Sorrento on the ferry for the day, perfect day out!

We took the hydrofoil ferry to Isle of Capri from Sorrento which costs 18 euro per adult and 9 euro for kids. The mountainous Isle of Capri is located 19 miles from south of Naples, Italy and on the edge of the Gulf of Naples, and it is west of the Sorrentine peninsular and the stunning Amalfi coast. This limestone rock Island is famous for its sea views, scenery and some of the main features the Blue grotto ,Marino piccolo, Faraglioni, and the ruins of the Imperial Roman villas. The island has 2 communes Capri and Ana Capri. The beauty of this small island is phenomenal and the aura of this place worldly and charming with spectuluar views on your way to the island and on the island itself. It is clean and fresh with natural beauty that bewitched us. From and to Capri ferry services are available to Naples , Sorrento, Ischia, and the Amalfi coast. If one is doing a day trip from outside Capri make sure to catch the last ferry out. In the winter months many sports and restaurants are closed on the Island so choose wisely before you go.

More words have eulogised this place since antiquity to today, Capri lies at the centre of many legends and ancient Homeric tales. But it was its clean climate and natural beauty that bewitched emperors, romantic poets and writers with the love for her intimate charms. My femme and i are devotee Caprians, making obligatory stops on our grand tours. Even the legendary stars of Hollywood could not resist the Call of the Sirens. Time seems to slow down on the island, perhaps one of its greatest attractions, besides the hidden charms of celebrity villas, sumptuous palaces and ancient ruins. But this isn't a sleepy town by any means. Its hub is the Piazzetta, where elegant cafes aglow with some heavily tanned vacationers, some ordinary like us, some glamorous to the max. Besides the Blue Grotto, there are a network of 55 caves worthy of engaging the use of heroic sailors to ferry us through the sea and coastal attractions. If clicking away on your camera, mobile or tablet is your bent, then the sweeping vista of the entire gulf from the top of Mt. Solero, reached by a chair-lift, or if you morph into a goat, on all fours, will have you in raptures. As will the postcard-perfect views of I Faraglioni, from Via Tragara or from Tiberius's Leap. With good walking shoes and a map, the island is an explorers paradise, with one grand site not to be missed is a romantic visit to Villa Jovis, emperor Tiberius's main residence, located way up at the summit of Capri's eastern precipice. Its not a Disney-version, with the island's flora grown over most of what remains of the villa, but the aura of place is other worldly. Our favourite palace is the good emperor's summer digs at Villa di Damecuta, a short hop away in Ana capri, offering up the most beautiful views of the Bay of Naples. Visiting here necessitates romantic hotels, in fact it should be a requirement by law. We found La Scalinatella, aperfect place for a tryst with my femme. Its gorgeous, fitted out with antique furniture, its location perfect for our strolls to our favourite eateries, La Terrazza and the Quisi, outstanding experiences requiring legwork and calories-burn. Every menu on the island has a refreshing insalata, but for more traditional fare we always reserve a table at La Capannina, an institution on the island and only a few steps from the glittery Piazzetta.

Hotel Margherita in Praiano arranged this day trip to Capri and it was phenomenal! The boat ride over was relaxing and the views were unlike any other. The island itself was so small, but charming. we did a little shopping, bought fresh fruit from the street vendors and ate ultra fresh seafood for lunch. The little beach was nice, even though it's not what we're used to in America. In a word I would describe Capri as enchanting.

Visited Capri recently after visiting it some 20 years ago.It still has the charm of a beautiful Island which you could walk around and spend a whole day enjoying the views. You dont need to take your car just get the day return ticket on the boat.Make sure you catch the last ferry/boat and not get stuck on the Island for the night.

Nice little island with a fishermen's town and plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. High end shopping is available. You can climb up or take the incline cart to the town up on the mountain. Fantastic views and great photo opportunities. Bring Dramamine if you get sea sick... Boat ride is less than an hour.

I fell in love with Capri, it is absolutely beautiful and feels like paradise. Everyone that goes to Italy should spend some time here, it is worth the trip!

Staying in Sorrento, we took the almost obligatory trip to Capri. It looks wonderful. The reality is sadly different. We took the Blue Lagoon trip - boat out to the bay and pay - transfer to dodgy rowing boat with no safety precautions, lifejacket, etc. Pay more. Minute trip round murky, slightly blue cave. Boatman sings to us, badly and tells us he expects a tip, as well as the initial charge. I reckon it cost about €120 total - a total con. Got back onto the island - we walked all the way to the Roman Consul's house, he wasn't in, and by the look of the place, he had been there for a while. Back to the village - over-priced shops and a small beer was exorbitant. Apparently, the glitterati who stay there do not come out until the last tourist boat has gone. George Clooney missed the pleasure of our company!

The trip across to Capri is beautiful; especially when the island comes into sight for the first time. Make sure to go on a clear day. There is not many stores or attractions open in the off season of Winter, but it is still worth the trip if you want to see some of the natural sites in Capri, such as Villa Jovis and the Gardens of Augustus. Anacapri is shopping heaven, so it is best enjoyed in Summer when everything is open. The best thing about Capri is the siteseeing, so bring your camera!
