What a nice church. Quite simple with amazing blue painting on all ceiling. Go behind the alter (it is allowed) to see the annexe that contains some more amazing paintings. The view from there is breath taking. worth taking the walk to the summit. Follow the track behind the santuario.

We walked up early in the morning. It can be quite a hike if you are not used to it although you can drive up. The kids weren't looking forward to it but they soon enjoyed the views. The café is very nice and the toilets were in great condition.The church itself is very nice but of course the main thing is the view and feeling of peace you have when you are there.

Very beautiful place to visit, the views are outstanding. There is about a 1 km walk (each way) to the top of Monte Cas on a forest path, very easy and you can go with normal shoes. If you dont want to walk that much, you can drive with the car all the way up to the "santuario" and park your car up there. The weather was rather bad during our visit, but I can imagine the little bar up there in a good weather is a wonderful place to have a coffee.

The walk uphill is quite strenuous, especially in a hot day. The trees give the road shade and there are benches, where you can rest your legs while climbing up. Along the road, there are little altars with very beautiful paintings. The church itself is peaceful and beautiful, great art also inside the sanctuary. The view towards the lake is breathtaking. There is a little cafe for refreshments.

We approached this site by the longer walk up through the woods surrounding it, you get the start of the walk by walking about 100 yards past the main entrance and taking a right turn, a bit hidden. It was a very warm day but the walk is shaded with the trees so it made it more pleasant, it is all uphill so you need to be fairly fit, but when you reach the top the views are breathtaking, it was so good I did it twice once with my husband and then with my daughter, we were overawed. You then drop down towards Montecastello and the views from there are also fantastic but when you stop off at the little cafe for a well earned refreshment you feel like you really deserve it when you come up the more difficult route. The walk back down past the 12 stations of the cross are interesting but not nearly as rewarding as the ascent along the other path. If you do go up by the path from the road past the 12 stations of the cross and get to the cafe be sure to continue on up behind the church to get to the viewpoint as it is well worth it.

A long climb but worth it, to see the sanctuary. The view from the cross beats description. There are tunnels left over from the defences in the 2nd World War. Fascinating pathways in the rocks. Pretty butterflies and flora

Salendo alla montagna non si può non pensare al salmo" laetatus sum" che in italiano è . " quale gioia quando mi dissero andremo nella casa del Signore", ed ora i nostri piedi si pongono alle tue porte Gerusalemme.Una vista magnifica che appaga la fatica del percorso

Na een deugdzame wandeling bereik je dit mooie en heel rustig gelegen klooster met een prachtig uitzicht over het Garda meer.In de lokale bar die gelegen is naast het klooster kan je genieten van een lekkere espresso of een lekker koel wijntje.Niet geschikt voor mensen die moeilijk te been zijn daar het een lange klim is naar het klooster.Wil je eens een echte Italiaanse mis bijwonen kom dan zeker eens langs, ook vinden er in de zomer soms toneelvoorstellingen plaats en dat is op deze locatie echt uniek.A little gem in my opinion.

Di passaggio abbiamo visto questo santuario. Si puo arrivare in macchina fin lassù oppure si puo provare la via crucis, naturalmente a piedi, che batosta a piedi... ripida e scale.... proprio via crucis. Consiglioa tutti.

Il panorama, se non c'è foschia. Bellissimo tutto l'ambiente intorno. Poi è possibile proseguire per Tremosine ed il tratto finale infernalmente meraviglioso che scende verso Limone, bellissima.

gironzolando per il lago siamo finiti a tignale e senza volere abbiamo visto l'indicazione per l'eremo. che dire la vista è magnifica il posto tranquillo.. si può arrivare in macchina con una strada in forte pendenza o a piedi e con maggiore fatica. certo i preti hanno scelto proprio un bel posto per fare gli eremiti!!!!

Un posto di una pace incredibile non solo come quiete ma anche come pace interiore...bellissimo e facilmente raggiungibile...una vista mozzafiato...fantastico
