We went to visit the City of Landau and the Zoo. The zoo is different, nothing I have ever seen. You can get so close to the animals with either no FENCE or minimal fencing. I can't imagine anything like this in North America. I have been a regular in the Toronto Zoo for decades, but this small Zoo had me make so many pictures, without the glare of windows or mesh of fences getting in the way, except for the monkeys, what was ok.If you ever make it to Germany and drive through the Town of Landau, take a couple of hours and visit the "Fussgaenger Zone", with all the cafe's and shopping you could want and visit the Zoo, its great fun for the whole family.

Nice zoo in the centre of Landau. Animals seem to be in good conditions and have plenty of space. Good place to go with your kids.

I've seen a few zoos in my time; this one is absolutely fine to visit, but not spectacular in any way. Animals seem well kept, the place is quite busy even during the day with visiting school classes, etc.Restaurant food is quite okay and not expensive.

My husband and I had some time to kill in landau and decided to go to the zoo. It was lots of fun! A warning to anyone who thinks that zoos outside the US will dedicate acres to create natural habitats: they don't! There is very limited space in Europe for a zoo, so expect to be there about two hours, maybe three if you have kids or want to eat. All the animals looked very healthy and there was a good diversity for such a small zoo.

Wer die Wilhelma kennt,ist enttäuscht, das dieser Park Zoo genannt wird. Aber gutes Restaurant innen; zu empfehlen.

Das ein ZOO Restaurant Waren nicht frisch anbieten kann, versteht sich. Aber dennoch sind das Preis Leistungsverhältnis für Schnitzel, Pommes und Co, negativ.

Der Zoo in Landau ist ein schöner kleiner Zoo, auch für Kinder sehr schön und Hunde sind willkommen.

Der Zoo Landau verfügt über ein sehr schön angelegtes und abwechslungsreiches Areal. Die Tiere "wirken" sehr gepflegt und happy. Ob zum Spaziergang , zur Bildung oder einfach nur zur Kids Belustigung ist dieser Tierpark eine sehr schöne Alternative. Das leibliche Wohl lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig aber satt wird man allemal :) .

Ich kenne diesen Zoo schon Jahrzehnte, damals hieß er noch schlicht Tiergarten. Bei schönem Wetter lohnt ein Spaziergang durch die angrenzenden Fortanlagen. Spielplatz, Steichelzoo..für die Kids wird auch einiges geboten.

Jedes Jahr besuche ich Landau und natürlich darf ein Zoobesuch nie fehlen. Super schön dort und Hunde willkommen( es gibt sogar Kotbeutel direkt an der kasse kostenlos)

Eigentlich nicht viel zu sagen: schön, sauber, erholsam.Der Rundgang könnte etwas besser angelegt werden.

reichhaltige Parkplätze vorhanden, teilweise gebührenpflichtig. Auch ein Restauration ist vorhanden.

Wir waren schon öfters im Zoo, er ist klein und schön. Nicht zu vergleichen mit Duisburg oder Zoom Gelsenkirchen, aber ein schönes Ambiente und nettes Meerwutzhausen. Wir kommen wieder.

Für mich einer der schönsten Zoos in der Umgebung. Angemessene Preise und sogar Hunde sind willkommen (selbstverständlich an der Leine). Besonders die neuen Gehege für Tiger und Dromedare sind außergewöhnlich, der restliche Zoo ist überschaubar, wird aber liebevoll geführt.
