frankenstein castle

Frankenstein Castle is a beautiful ruin, like many other undiscovered castles and ruins in the Pfalz-area. It lies on a spur in a valley, above the village of Frankenstein (Rheinland-Pfalz; near Kaiserslautern) and it’s not to be confused with the castle in Nieder-Beerbach (Hesse). Underneath a railway crosses through a tunnel. The whole setting looks like a model railway scene!
