The small museum is located in a private house in a housing area. The collection comprises a lot of historical medical instruments. It is run by a private community of enthusiastic collectors. It mainly of interst for experts rather than for everybody. Also it is only open on restricted days in summer (because in winter there is no heating) and on agreement.

Exhibition on medicine from the prehistory to the present, the development of specialities throughout the centuries by means of objects, finds, dioramas and scenes: medicine in old Egypt, Greek medicine and Roman bathing culture, early medicine study, Arabic influence on Western medicine during middle ages, invention of the microscope and discovery circulatory, development dentistry, anesthesia and surgery 19th and 20th century history, hospital history, hospital room and nursing. The museum includes a medicine-library, fossil collection and herbal garden.Open every first Sunday of the month from 14.30h to 18.30h, as well as by prior telephone arrangement, entrance is free of charge.

Ein kleines aber feines in einer Wohnstrasse in Andernach gelegen. Wer an der Geschichte der Heilkunst interessiert ist wird hier fündig. Auf engstem Raum in einem privaten Wohnhaus gelegen finden sich zahlreiche medizinische Exponate. Wem vor Sklapellen, der Eisernen Lunge oder Behandlungsstühlen graut, dem sei ausdrücklich abgeraten.
