First, I was quite skeptical about the whole thing. I though it was more of a kids thing. But that was actually quite exciting and really scary! It is really high...

To be honest I should have thought twice before going there with my family.The entrance area let you think you'll have a good time, you can see the "Haus am Kopf" right from the beginning. This makes you pay the proud 7,50 €/person definitly easier. Though once you get in the parc, you'll have a quick walk on that "skywalk" which is nothing but a wooden path hanging loose over 25 m on thin metall poles. If you are just a bit afraid of heights, forget it, as it be full wih children running and shaking the whole thing. This lasts about 5 minutes and the view isn't much spectacular, as you just look down the valley. Right after, there is a little way through the forest with a exhibition about optical illusions - most of them a already well known. Somehow this "attraction" doesn't match the concept of "Waldwipfelweg", but ok. Then, a few lamas, three kangaroos (nobody knows why actually kangaroos and lamas, as these animals do not come from Bavaria, but once again ok), a play ground with no seats for the parents... Finally the upside down house, which you have to pay 2€ more pro person! Great surprise!!! We already paid 7.50€ for something that lasted ten minutes!! It was difficult to tell my son that we will not enter the house because we got just nickel and dimed. It left us a bitter feeling. As leaving I went to the lady at the entrance to suggest they say the upside house should be explicitly shown as extra on the tickets (it says 7,50 with a pic of the house), I have been told I should have read the prospect before (which I hadn't), where you can find in fact, in small caracters, 2€ extra for it. At least I had a smile from the lady. Toiletts and Parking space were free though. Next time, take any hiking path (there are a lot in the region, on that mountain side. You'll have the same view, you'll save your money and you'll have way more space for yourself.

An exciting trip for kids, adults alike. Much to do and see in one place, pl.house am Kopf, and many more interesting things that affect the forest, animals and plants. Small animal garden, and is not primarily in view of the forest from above.

This is a great place to become a kid again. From the upside-down house, to the tree top walk, to the illusion galleries, you are sure to leave with a big smile on your face and some cool pictures.

My husband and I were attracted to the pictures of the high wooden walkway stretching out over the forest. But there is so much more. We visited with our two dogs - a great walk through the forest, stopping at the educational stations along the way. Feel a sample furry pelt and guess which animal it is. Check out the footprints and guess if it is a fox or a badger. Exhibits were very well presented and far enough apart to provide some room between groups of people. The visual optical illusions were very fun and completely unexpected there in the woods. What a great way to introduce children to these works.We enjoyed ourselves immensely and we didn't even have any children with us. Highly recommend.Tip: plan to arrive right when they open. The parking s a lot easier and closer and there are fewer people. Today, we showed up at 9:15am. Yesterday, we drove into overflow parking at noon and decided to come back another time. Too far to walk to the entrance and too crowded.

Waren kurz vor Weihnachten dort. Sehr schön, denn an den Advent-Wochenenden gibt es dort auch noch einen Weihnachtsmarkt, der sehr stimmungsvoll ist, dort im Wald. Der Waldwipfelweg an sich ist schon super. IN 25 Metern Höhe zwischen den Baumwipfeln zu sein, ist schon klasse. Auch die Quizfragen und Infos, die man auf dem Waldpfad sonst noch so bekommt sind liebevoll und stimmig gemacht. Die Gastronomie im Park ist gut und auch nicht zu teuer. Ein sehr empfehlenswerter Ausflug, ob Winter, oder Sommer!

Wir hatten nicht gedacht, dass wir so viel Zeit hier verbringen werden. Auch wenn wir wegen der niedrigen Wolkendecke keine Fernsicht hatte, so war es doch ein schöner und interessanter Tag. Ein Traum war der im Wald liegende Weihnachtsmarkt mit lokalem und regionalem Kunsthandwerk. Allein dafür und die dadurch geschaffene Atmosphäre war hat sich der Tag mehr als gelohnt.

Ein super Ausflugsziel für Familien mit Kindern. Auf dem Waldwipfelweg die Aussicht geniessen und die Welt aus der Perspektive von Eichhörnchen und Co erleben. Danach im Wald alles über seine Bewohner lernen. Am Schluss sollte man sich die zusätzlichen 2€ pro Person leisten und das Haus am Kopf von innen besichtigen.

auf diesem Rundweg der etwas anderen Art ist vieles zu entdecken und man kann sein Wissen selbst testen,der gesamte Weg ist leicht Barrierefrei zu bezeichnen.An verschiedenen Stationen kann jeder sein Wissen über Tiere des Waldes testen oder über Kuriositäten staunen,einfach bei Möglichkeit diesen Weg selbst besuchen,man wird sicher nicht enttäuscht.Am Ende des Weges,allerdings gegen einen kleinen Extra Obulus,ist das Haus auf dem Kopf zu besuchen,dieses sollte sich keiner entgehen lassen.Wer kann schon behaupten ganze Schränke oder große Möbel zu tragen,Kopfstände mühelos durchzuführen dann ganz einfach dieses Haus besuchen und Erinnerungsfotos schiessen.Schon ist der Beweis angetreten,es geht!

Es ist sehr schön da. Für Kinder ein echter spass, da es viel zu entdecken gibt.Trotz Nebel konnte man doch ein wenig weit gucken =)Essen war auch sehr lecker.Das Haus auf dem Kopf ist nichts fuer Leute den schnell Schwindelig wird =) Aber sonst ganz witzig

Der Waldwipfelweg ist sehr informativ die Bäume haben Schilder mit dem jeweiligen Namen auch sind Kästen mit Vögeln angebracht und durch einen Druck auf den Knopf ertönt die Vogelstimme. Die Aussicht bei gutem Wetter bis in die Alpen ist einmalig. Leider war es bei unserem Besuch wolkig und regnerisch so daß die Sicht eingeschränkt war. Mit der Sankt Egelmar Card ist der Eintritt sogar kostenlos.

Der Waldwipfelweg bietet einem wirklich einen schönen Spaziergang in Augenhöhe mit den Baumwipfeln. Somit bietet er dann auch einen herrlichen Blick über die wunderschöne Landschaft. Für Menschen mit Höhenangst ist er eine Herausforderung. Außerdem wird die Flora und Fauna sehr gut erklärt und teilweise auch akustisch dargestellt. Wenn Mann in der Umgebung ist, ist diese Attraktion einen Besuch wert.

Der Eintritt war zu teuer. ( 7 Euro). Aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Der Pfad in 30m Höhe wackelt bei Wind etwas.

Wenn auch der Eintritt nicht gerade günstig ist, es lohnt sich auf alle Fälle. Das ganze Drum herum wie die Tiere, der Spielplatz usw. vor allem auch die Gastronomie. Sehr freundlicher Service und die Preise für Essen und Trinken sind nicht überteuert somit neutralisiert sich derEintrittspreis wieder. :-))) Wir sind gerade erst vor Ort gewesen und werden beim nächsten Urlaub im Bayer. aber es wird hier echt einiges geboten und man sollte mit Kindern ruhig Mal einen Tag einplanen.Der Pfad in 30m Höhe ist beeindruckend aber auch der Erlebnispfad durch den Wald am Fuße des Pfades ist echt klasse.
