burg desenberg

Travelling through the borderland between Hesse, NRW (North Rh..) and Lower Saxony you won't overlook this cone-shaped hill / mountain. I bet ist unique. It's "reigning" over the area to ist North and West, the Warburger Börde.There is a convenient carpark at ist foot, connecting to a path coiling up the hill. The castle ruins on the hilltop date back a 1000 years. The Vistas over fertile country and wooded mountain ranges may be the best of all.To the Southwest you will see the ancient town of Warburg, inviting you to explore one of Westphalia's prettiest and least unspoiled towns. The Desenberg is about 3 km from Warbug's train station and in view as soon as you alight from a train. Enjoy! Genießen Sie es!

Extra hier hin zu fahren lohnt nicht, um die Burg zu sehen !! War nur kurz dort war eher langweilig. würde ich nicht empfehlen

...mit schönem Ausblick am Ende.Die Ruine ist recht interessant und es bietet sich ein netter Ausblick. Es direkt am Weg Parkplätze vorhanden und alle paar Meter eine Bank zum Ausruhen.Ein Besuch lohnt sich.
