We went to Altstadt Hattingen in December to experience their annual Christmas Market and were not disappointed. The Christmas decorations of the wonderful historic buildings and smaller wooden sales cabins, yummy smells of roasted almonds, mulled wine and bratwurst everywhere. How could you go wrong? Even parking was not too big of an issue (it was not a weekend!). Despite the cold we had a wonderful time. Can definitely recommend this place, for Christmas time, or whenever.

Very interisting buildings built 1600. Iron House is the tourist office. A lot of pubs and restaurants in historic buildings. Don#t miss to visit he old church in the middle of the old town. While walking around You will feel like to be in the middle age.

Very old city with lots of old wooden column buildings. But still looks very nice and attractive. And you have chance to do some shopping.

my local colleague from Essen took me to see this place, I stayed directly in the centre of Hattingen 3 days, it s an amazing, cosy historical town, you ll find a lot of beutiful houses, restaurants and cafes. dont miss Bugeleisen house and hotel Zur alten Krone

I was in this region for business and my local colleague took me to see this ancient village. It is beautifully preserved and you can walk around the streets and lanes. Don't forget to look up - there is some amazing architectural detail. Although we didn't try any, there are several restaurants and cafes in the village, along with shops you can poke around it. It won't take even close to half a day, so you can see other attractions in the area. Worth a stop!

Eine Innenstadt , die auch nach Geschäftsschluß noch Leben aufweist. Viele Häuser werden auch noch zum Wohnen benutzt und es gibt unterschiedlichste Lokale die ein Besuch Wert sind!☕️

Die Hattinger Altstadt ist wunderschön. Vorallem die alten Fachwerk Häuser, teilweise schon ein wenig schräg da stehend. Am schönsten ist die Altstadt jedoch zur Weihnachtszeit wenn die Häuser teilweise auch noch mit Lichtern dekoriert sind

Eine schöne kleine Altstadt mit super netten Menschen. Die Fachwerkhäuser geben ein einmaliges Flair. Hier sollte man in eine Bäckerei gehen und von den Brötchen kosten :) Auch den Hattinger Weihnachtsmarkt sollte man mal erlebt haben. Immer wieder gerne.

Красивый старый город, дома постройки 15-16 веков. Привлекают внимание узкие улочки, старинная тюрьма, дом похожий на утюг, церковь Святого Георга с кривой крышей

Wer im Ruhrgebiet ist , sollte Hattingens Alstadt gesehen haben. Kleine Cafes, Kneipen und Restaurants. Altes schönes Rathaus.

Благодаря своим маленьким размерам и отсутствию крупных промышленных объектов, этот городок избежал бомбардировок в годы войны.Поэтому здесь полностью сохранился старый город. Его можно считать эталонным примером фахверковой архитектуры и умения немцев поддерживать свои памятники (а каждый домик там, по сути, памятник) в образцовом порядке.Обязательно посетите! Не пожалеете!

Wunderschöne Altstadt, die man hier nicht erwartet, mit vielen netten Kneipen. Lohnt sich eigentlich immer!

-eine Fachwerkstadt mitten im Ruhrpott-den Weihnachtsmarkt muss man besuchen...-Von Wuppertal aus sollte man mal mit Fahrrad über die Eisenbahntrasse dorthin fahren....zurück geht es dann mit der Buslinie 332... ganz einfach ganz bequem!

Hattingen ist einen Besuch wert. Sehr schöne Fußgängerzone mit der obligatorischen Kircheim Zentrum. Bei schönem Wetter findet eine ausgiebige Gastronomie im freien statt.
