We happened to visit this area on 15th of august - st.Mary - a very big Greeek day. Everyone was free + 2 week-end days, everyone left for Halkidiki. It was so crowded!! The beaches here are so small and very crowded. i didn't like anything. We rented a small boat (very expensive) and we went far from the crowd. we had to eat when we returned and even if it was after lunch, it was still crowded. I will not return to spend so much time in traffic for what?

We have been visiting Glarokavos Beach Bar for years and we always kind of know what to expect. Every beach bar on the1st ''leg'' - peninsula of Chalkidiki can get really crowded during the summer. Glarokavos combines a good beach with nice waters - usually not that warm and a good quality in services. This year however, customer service has turned out to be their weakest point. We tried to be proactive and made a reservation for 4 people on the previous day of our visit. We arrived very early - 12:30pm and we were shocked to realise that the man in charge gave us half an umbrella and only 2 beach beds - saying that when our friends arrive they will give us 2 small seats. Half an umbrella meant that practically we had to sit together with 4 other people ( exactly like sharing a table in a restaurant). Prices were high and customer service not friendly as it should be. In order to access the sea you had to walk a log circle around the bar as the sand was literally blocked by seats and beach beds. Very very unpleasant experience. I do not think I will visit Glarokavos soon again.

It may not be the best beach of Chalkidiki, but it surely is one of the best located in the Chalkidiki's first leg. Suitable not only for couples but also for families, you can choose to spend your time drinking your coffee at a beach bar (which I liked more compared to those in Chanioti) or on your own, away from a beach bar so as to relax. The water is clear, thanks to the pebbles, which are not annoying at all, though!

A lovely beach bar to visit with a clean beach to swim in lovely vibe on the bar and different age groups mostly younger 20-30s The drinks are a bit more pricey than other places but generally it's a lovely place with a beautiful view to spent your day at!

Beautiful view but crowdy noisy and littered sometimes. During a day it's good to walk there but at night it's not a place for a relaxing stroll.

We have rented a boat and traveled to the near eremic small islands.....the best clear and tourquis waters ever!!!!

Many people think the area has been named after the nearby beach-bar but the truth is Glarokavos is the little harbour that also gave its name to the beautiful beach and beach-bar located next to it.The harbour is good shelter for small boats, has a nice beach front and lots of natural shadow thanks to the pine trees. It offers some beautiful views and is a good place to take photos.It is worth paying a visit if you're in the area but I wouldn't travel a long distance just for that.

One umbrella and four sunbeds and you can have mote if you wish. This is the best beach bar in Chalkidiki regeon for many years.Perfect service and nice prices....and the beach is one of the best of the areaWe will be back soon

The sea was excellent, the music was excellent and beautiful people. I loved it. I recommend it to all of you. The service was excellent and the prices too low.

it was a beach with pebbles not sand and for that reason the water was so clear. The beach bar was ok , nice music, very helpful staff but the prices could have been better.I

Went there after seeing the signs to Glarokavos beach bar.The beach is nice,with pebbles,clean water of course,and the beach bar playing lounge music,with its stuff always around if you want something to drink or eat.

Beautiful beach with small stones. Not very loud not very quiet. The beach bar prices could be better.
