provatas beach

This beach just a 25 minute bustrip from Adamas is really good. Nice views and a few restaurants with good food even of we only ate at "Palagos". The backdrop for the beach are some interesting geological features with sulphur and other minerals with colours. The water gets deep quickly though. The sand is more pebbles than fine sand. A great place!

It's not astonishing like other beaches in Milos but it's quiet and less populated and you can relax and swim.

Very easy to reach and very convenient to come with a family, very shallow and sandy beach with crystal clear waters. There are some places where you can get shade, but beach is unorganized, there is a small booth however if you have to change clothes.

Fantastic sand and the water is quite shallow so it makes a perfet destination for families with children that parents want to relax.

This is a very nice beach. It is super clean and super clear. We ended up going twice because we loved it so much. The water was so calm and colorful. I think it is the best out of the regular beaches (not including Sarakiniko, Papafragas, Klima, Kleftiko, etc.) on the island

We visited the beach and we found a parking spot easily since we arrived before 11. The beach is not very large but it is organized. Unfortunately you need to walk very far from the beach in the sea to come in deeper water.

beach is nice but very crowded on a sunday, and the greek national sport beach tennis is well played here in this tiny beach as well. waters are clear, altough gets deeper after 100 meters of walking.... try

This would be better in July/September when its a tad quieter. Family friendly, clear water but lots of rocks around.

If your ideal beach is a beach filled with beach bars and people, this is the right place for you. The water is fine, and the beach has nice sand. Not my favorite place, and I am definitely not going back, as I enjoy more relaxing beaches with far less people !

Gorgeous sandy beach on the southern part of Milos, one of my personal favourites along with Agia Kiriaki and Fyriplaka. Stretch of golden sand, blue crystal clear water... can you ask for more??

Worth to swim in the right part of provatas beach (called agios sostis) that is sandy and crystal clear because the left part there is a line of a few meters with small rocks when you enter the water that makes it difficult to access.

Excellent waters, as almost everywhere on Milos. Hotel bar above the beach is ridiculously expensive.

This is a great beach to get away from the hustle and bustle of Adamas and the Plaka. There is a bar/hotel for drinks and food.There is bus service to the area but getting there and back without a rental a car or motorcycle can be a challenge.

Provatas beach is the most beautiful sandy beach in Milos. It features very fine, golden sand and the sea water level is slowly decreasing. A beautiful spot for children. The water is very clean. Toilet facilities in the nearby hotel, food and drinks are served in the beach bar. Too bad the cook comes at 12.00 hrs. so there is no breakfast served.
