It was interesting to see the everyday routine of the different kind of shepard. The thing that we missed and discussed with the museum people right away than the role of women was not mentioned. As per the plans as of 2015 the collection will be extended with women details. Let's hope! :-)

A decent little museum that explains the traditional life of the herders and horsemen of the Puszta. Good explanatory panels to the exhibits in English.

If one stops at Hortobagy (and one should), be sure to visit this small museum. It provides a lot of information about life on the Pustai (Plain) area.

This small museum but interesting museum is well worth a visit.it gave a glimpse into a lifestyle that is increasingly rare.

Das Museum ist mitten im Ort und leicht erreichbar. Der Eintritt ist sehr niedrig und das Museum interessant um einen Einblick in das Leben der Hirten zu bekommen.
