This is the must go place in Krk. Though it may seem not attractive from the square, go ahead and enter the door. A full world will be disclosed to you. Different rooms with different styles and a big bartender, you can play darts or pool or read magazines. On the opposite side, open air tables on the peer. But the special thing is the "secret garden" that really is worth a drink. We were here for breakfast, when the garden was almost empty, such as for aa drink during a live concert when it was crowded and enlighted only by candles. Nice special atmosphere, granted by the old stones alk around.Events and music almost every night different.And the staff is really nice.Highly recommended!

We were invited in through a stone archway into the 'secret garden' by two ladies. As we walked between stone walls we were worried but when we entered the secret garden we were greeted with a cement mixer water fountain (apparently used to rebuild Krk walls). The drinks list is extensive and although we paid extra for some unusual cocktails, they definitely were worth it! Its a lovely cozy garden, perfect for a drink :-)

What a surprise! Love the decor and the cool ambiance.Cocktails were really good and if you good with young people there a nice choice cocktails without alcohol.

it was really nice and pleasent to stay there after a big storm we just accidentally went there and we were totally amazed by the roman catacombc and the secret garden an dthe DJ played awsome music and the Nimph waitresses is were so nice:) you can have food or wine or coffe or coctails dance or play pool, or jsut read magazines free WIFI wsa also a nice thing . Definitaly a place where I would go back anytime!!!

Where else can you go and sit in a Roman garden under the trees and relax with a cocktail?The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was really pleasant. we had cocktails and wine and both were excellent. If your looking for a place where you can just sit and chill then I recommend this is your place.

Hi Andy! Weekdays are always much more calm than weekends - people are just used to go out on Friday and Saturday even on holidays.We introduced live music in the Garden for the first time in summer 2013., so it's possible that there were some more calm evenings last summer. But this summer (2014.) the Garden is so lively that it's hard to find a table after 22:00! :-)

We are sorry for your dissapointment of our bar. There are many bars in Krk, but it's hard to compare any of them with Zrce beach because Krk isn't a clubbing destination. Volsonis is situated in a 2000-year-old roman ruin, and t's hard to give an other example of such a unique ambient as this one.

If you are coming with a friend or a girlfriend/boyfriend, this is the best choice for a cocktail. It is situated in the Roman's heritage offering you quite romantic atmosphere.

The bar has very nice atmosphere. A sign "Secret Garden" on a fortress wall took us there. The yard is filled with candles, fig trees and remains from the fortress. Although that night there was live music, there was no entrance fee.

Das Volsonis muß entdeckt werden. Es versteckt sich hinter den historischen Stadtmauern von Krk City. Im Garten mit einem sehr coolen Brunnen gibt es für Kulturinteressierte viel zu entdecken und zu bestaunen, Cocktail- und Pizzahungrige können im Schatten der Olivenbäume verweilen. Abends gibt es hier die besten "ausgewählten" Bands und DJs, nichts provinzielles, der Chef, seine Family und das Team sind sehr coole und nette Leute mit weitem Horizont :) . Zunächst lohnt ein Rundgang durch das Volsonis, durch den Garten, hinunter zu den römischen Katakomben. Nirgendwo in Krk kann man wie hier auf echten römischen Altären, Säulen und Mauern sitzen und feiern. Uns hat das Volsonis so gut gefallen, dass wir letztes Jahr beschlossen, unsere Hochzeit dort zu feiern. Die Absprache mit dem Team war grandios. Vom Chef bis zu den Kellnerinnen und Kellnern arbeiteten alle unaufgeregt, zuverlässig und kompetent. Auf alle unsere Wünsche wurde eingegangen, der Chef organisierte kurzerhand Parkplätze für unsere Hochzeitsgesellschaft und Babysitterinnen für die Kids. Später konnten die Kleinen auf den gemütlichen Matrazen im Wintergarten des Volsonis schlafen, und wir konnten ordentlich abrocken. Das Essen war traditionell, regional, in alten Steinöfen gemacht und echt lecker. Wir und unsere Gäste aus Deutschland, der Schweiz und Kroatien waren vom Volsonis Flair begeistert. Für uns wird es immer ein ganz besonderer Ort bleiben, nicht nur wegen seiner römischen Geschichte sondern vor allem wegen des Teams. Bleibt so, you are the best! La location del bar vanta sicuramente un plauso per originalità e bellezza.Cocktail buoni con prezzi allineati con l'Italia ( purtroppo ),sicuramente da provare vista la penuria dei locali limitrofi.Comunque esperienza più che positiva.

Locale molto molto carino, il migliore a krk, il più originale: tutto illuminato da fiaccole e candele il che rende l'atmosfera molto rilassante. Nel week end organizzano anche delle serate con concerti, noi ad esempio abbiamo ascoltato una band soul-funky e devo dire che meritava davvero nel complesso, per la musica e l'atmosfera. i prezzi sono uguali a tutti gli altri locali di krk, 2 kune non fanno la differenza, però almeno il locale è diverso. merita farci un giro.

Tardo pomeriggio e tanta voglia di una birra fresca, siamo stati così attirati da una porticina incastonata tra le vecchie mura che prometteva un 'giardino segreto'. E' stata veramente una bella sorpresa trovare questo spazio aperto e originale nascosto tra gli edifici. Peccato che l'ambiente sia un po' sporchino e approssimativo (cavi che penzolano, cuscini troppo vissuti, ...),magari di sera tardi col buio e il pienone non ci si fa caso, ma di giorno... Comunque carino dai, promosso per la sensazione di inaspettato.

Carinissimo bar tra le antiche mura di Krk città, cocktail ottimi e buona musica. I prezzi non sono proprio bellissimi ma la location vale il prezzo sia di notte che di giorno. Organizzano anche alcune serate con dj o musica particolareNon perdetevelo!
