Nice park and playgrounds for kids and adults. Here it is restaurants, monuments and a green place in city center instead of walking along the traficced road.

The park is beautifully manicured and has excellent gardens and a lovely fountain.There is also a restaurant and coffee shop in the park where you can have a bite to eat or enjoy a cup of tea on the second level, which has great views of the park.Shevchenko Park is so peaceful, and a great place to spend a lazy weekend afternoon.

It was winter when I visted, covered in snow, but still peaceful to walk through. I am sure this is a beautiful park in the spring/summer time.

I thought this was a nice place to go for walk or to just sit and talk. There are many activities for children here but not really for adults.

We walked through here several times in the hot summer afternoons and evenings. Nice and clean, lovely flower beds, tree lined paths, a few places for refreshment, the 'nemo' dolphinarium etc are in the area and spotted a horse and lovely ornate carriage which I presume was for hire. Unlike London parks it appears to be open at all times, no locked gates, seemed safe and tranquil every time we strolled through, no cyclists or joggers dashing about which made a nice change from London! Seemed to be a small 'disco' tent one evening we strolled though judging by the lovely music, but could be wrong.

I've walked through this park several times during my visit. It's lovely and calm and there are quiet a few things to see like the 50th Parallel and the statue of Shevchenko. But it's best for people watching

I love this park and I walk there every day when I am in Kharkiv. I stay at Chichikov Hotel, so it is just across Sumskaya. The paths between the trees are lovely, there is always something new to discover, there is the statue with the bronze toe to be touched and a wish made. At the back of the park, past the Dolphin place, is the lovely cascade waterfall.

This park is centrally located, close to many local attractions. However, comparing to Gorky Park, it is really poorly maintained. There are a few places for food, local zoo, delphinarium, and Schevchenko monument. If you stay close to the city center, I could recommend this place for a short night walk.

The biggest park in Kharkiv. No special attraction but you can visit some genuine statues there and also join to the youth there in the weekends

Clean and quite big park, not much attractions in it but it's good if you are just looking for a walk.

I was expecting a lot more, don't know why but thought there was going to be more. Found the city somewhat dirty and run down. Everything seemed to be under repair.Sorry, just wasn't impressed.

The only sightseeing in this park is the monument to Taras Schevchenko.The atmosphere that made this park really something in the old days had evaporated long ago...

Very clean park. Quite big. Perfect for romantic walk with your loved one in the evening. They have a place over there where you can eat and relax.

This park was dirty and not in the best shape when I went there.After 6pm it's probably not the most secure place to be in Kharkiv.

I did like the park. I found it surprisingly clean. A perfect place to spend an afternoon with your loved one.
