perfect place to relax. It is so beautiful, love to go back. especially to ponte de pirambu. Tip: walk from Tibau to Pipa but watch the tides.

I love this place ! best beach you can get , only 15 min busride from Pipa or 2 hours walking !Natural pools and calm sea , great for children ! They do boattrips on the lagoon for an hour or a day, meals included , very relaxing ! You can also rent a kayak or a small sailboat or take kitesurf lessons at the Sossego Surf Camp. The local fishsoup is delicious . No nightlife .

When the waves are a little too big on the beaches for swimming, try Tibau Beach (down near the Ferry crossing). The water there is calmer and better for swimming (don't go out too far though as there is a strong current going in or out of the Lagoon). At the change in the tide, dolphins can regularly be seen fishing at the mouth of the beautiful Guariras Lagoon. The beach has a range of seafood restaurants. We liked Mar Major Restaurant best of all. The Portugese owner Edwardo takes care to get the best and freshest seafood.

If you want see the very good places. You can buy a boat ride, is around USD 15.00. For 2 hours is possible see dolphins , turtles and very good places. To lunch take a look at city restaurants is more cheep than beach options.

We visited in off-season, so there were plenty of sun loungers available (at R$5). We left them only to have lunch and cool off in the water. They serve drinks at your lounger. It's so relaxing to just watch the sand, the palm trees and the ferry, while sipping on R$5 caipirinhas.

The sunset is unbelievable. Try the left side of the beach, along with confortable chairs and coconut water in the multiple bars nearby. Care your stuff

We visited by riding our hired motorbike from pipa. This place had the only petrol station. The river is gorgeous and so are the beaches! Not many restaurants- there is the popular creperia which we will check out next time we come back. The drive from pipa to this place is AMAZING! The coastal road is stunning!

Not sure why this isn't bigger than Pipa but we were very grateful it isnt as we had it pretty much to ourselves!! Amazing vista in both directions, make sure to get along to Pirambu on the beach for lovely food and the usual cold coconuts

You your are on an offroad vehicle you can try the typical ferry there and enjoy the empty sands with nice view. The cannal itself is very interesting.

it was supposed to be a great beach with a calmer lake, but it was a horrible place, ruined by the crowds attending and let loads of garbage around. One of the filthiest beaches we visited in the Pipa area (the other ones are super clean)

You have a big river mouth and the views are amazing.Very good to do kite, also.

The beach is beatiful, but the infrastruture is really poor, restaurants are very basic and the beach is dirty

The town is beautiful, for those who want a more "exclusive" place to stay, Tibau is the place.

A praia é bem tranquila e mansa. Ótima para crianças. Nos quiosques as comidas são saborosas e o com um preço em conta. O que mais me marcou foi que lá eu consegui ver os golfinhos que minha filha tanto queria ver. Foi no final da tarde e foi muito emocionante. Vai ficar para sempre na minha memória.

Pasamos por aquí con la excursión que nos llevó a Pipa. Tranquilo y agradable, el agua es una pileta tibia, completamente calma y clara. Nos sentamos en la Barraca Beira Mar y solo pagamos lo que consumimos. Dejé una foto de la carta, nosotros consumimos una gaseosa de litro y dos cervezas grandes y pagamos 22 R.
