This mall is huge and had a lot of stores. From clothing to huge electronic stores. It's perfect if u need to pick up a few items while in manaus and is located in a really nice area. A lot of hotels are around and it is next to a huge supermarket . There is a really nice food court with a lot of options to choose from, local food to Chinese. I really enjoyed this mall.
Parking here is getting worse with time. It's expensive, small space for the cars and difficult to find a spot sometimes. The parking area has an awful smell and feels like a sauna. The mall itself, on the other hand, is great. Lots of places to eat at the food court, different stores, cinema, theatre and etc!Best mall in town. The food court is amazing and you feel like in a forest!
OK, maybe that title isn't exactly true, but yet, it is. The city of Manaus, in the state of Amazonas in Brazil is situated at the juncture of the mighty Amazon River and a major tributary, the Rio Negro. Everything outside the city is rainforest, but since the city has more people than my hometown of Philadelphia, PA, this makes for a unique situation. Within this major metropolitan area are many shopping opportunities, but my wife wanted to see this one. As another reviewer stated, you don't travel thousands of miles to visit a shopping mall. Then again, maybe you're curious. This is a huge mall, built on two levels, in somewhat of a circular or oval shape, having a very "artsy" feel. Yes, it's just another shopping mall with the usual fare, but it's Brazilian. Prices for regular stuff are better here than in the areas near the cruise ship port. The fast food places are all Brazilian. The food court is nice and the restrooms are clean. You can exchange your money here for Brazilian Reals. In the US, we're accustomed to malls surrounded by parking lots and parking structures. Here, the Mall itself comes up to the sidewalk along a street. The parking is behind it. No real surprises here, unlike at the Carrefour center in Alexandria, Egypt, where we found an American burger restaurant back in 2009.
People don't fly thousands of miles from other countries such as Canada or USA to visit a shopping mall...in case you need to buy a bikini or sandals and your hotels is selling those object for a ridiculous price, this place is for you. However, if you're visiting for a limited time, don't waste your time. This mall sells exactly what other malls in the US, Europe sell, and things are pricy! The food court is good, McDonald's, Japanese, Chinese, Brazilian and local food, but don't be scared with the prices, specially the Chinese foodThe architecture is rather interesting, focused on the nature and the place is quite beautiful. The restrooms, by the end of the day are extremely dirty...so visit the mall in the morning.Another interesting place is that you can find a tourist information desk and ask for help, if needed.Bombons da Amazonia is delicious...a place I recommend, where you can buy chocolates and stuff like that with amazon flavors.
A rather large modern shopping centre with great variety of shops - fashion, electronics, a cinema, ...etc. There is a food court at the basement with many stalls offering various food options. I was here on the Sunday after the Good Friday holiday as most of the street shops and other smaller shopping malls were closed. Primary reason why I visited this shopping mall was in search for food, after reading previous reviews. I would consider the food at the food court to be pricy. I don't know if this is the norm or because its Manaus and most stuff have to be transported in. I ended up buying food from the Carrefour supermarket next door to the shopping centre. I believe this is a great shopping and entertainment centre for the locals, but as a tourist, its not the shopping in Manaus that I'm here for.
A arquitetura tambem é bem diferente e a decoracao toda tematica.
As árvores no meio do espaço do shopping tornam o ambiente diferenciado e aconchegante.
Adorei a visita.
