So much history in this hidden gem in Perth's southern suburbs. I could literally spend all day here, you get the opportunity to see some many different types of aircraft including the much famed Avro Lancaster and Spitfire. The staff are incredibly friendly and the cost of entry is a bargain!!!!!

This would appeal to people who are knowledgable about aircraft but I found it a little boring. It was a very hot day and there was no air conditioning in the hangars so we didn't stay very long.

Hidden gem, and so close to the Perth City centre. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Only ten dollars to get in....absolute bargain. Get up close to a Spitfire, and a Lancaster bomber. I could have spent hours in there.Make sure you see the Battle of Britain lace which is framed in a separate building and is absolutely brilliant, I had no idea that these works of art existed and the enthusiasm of Brian Farr will bring it alive for you. Best ten dollars that I have spent so far in Perth......no in Australia.

Love the atmosphere here and the friendly volunteers. Astonishing amount of gear in here and you can spend hours. Choose whether to browse or really read through all the info and learn more. Great for adults or kids. Can get a bit uncomfortable on very hot days.

Yes a lot to see and take in.. not just for the old war historians. Lots of interesting pieces of equipment and a bit of an eye opener into our past, great for all ages.

I really enjoyed visiting this museum, they have some state of the art aircraft on exhibition. The masterpiece is off course the Avro Lancaster, but all the other deserve just as much credit, a true showpiece of australian aviation at its best.

This Museum has to be the best aviation museum in the world. A great day out for the whole family. Awesome.

This is one of Perth's best attractions. It was particularly memorable for me as they have a Canberra Bomber that I worked on in Vietnam.

A good collection of airplanes mainly WW2 immaculate restoration of planes especially a Lancaster bomber which you can look inside from a ladder. Great for kids as they can get some idea of what their Great grandfathers did in the war and the conditions in which they had to work in (especially rear gunners) as well as sit in some planes. 46c outside on our visit and so the buildings were very hot - that aside though well worth a visit.

Visited the aviation museum yesterday. It was great to see such a range of planes. I am not a huge aviation fan, so was more going for the general historical significance. It was really worthwhile. One tip, try visit on a day that is not too hot as it gets very warm in the viewing area. There are industrial fans in a few spots which does help, but just be prepared.

If your into planes in way shape or form this is quite and outstanding museum to visit, remarkable collection of aircraft some still in flight order, very worth while a couple of hours, looking and going through the aircraft.

As a European tour guide, I freely admit to not knowing enough about Australian aviation. After visiting this museum, I'm satisfied that I have been entertained, informed, educated and delighted by the aircraft, posters, displays and staff. Wonderful place!

What a magnificent and wonderful Museum to visit. A MUST when visiting Perth. The Lancaster bomber along with a Spitfire and many other original items from our history. Great stories on their integrated movie sites for all to see.

If you have any interest in planes the past the war or just interest in Abe's this is great for the whole family and kids of any age.

My Mum lives on the WAAFA Estate, so my two boys (13 and 9) love popping in here. They fire up the jet engine once a week and you can clim in most of the exhibits and have a play....
