Stayed here as part of a Contiki tour in the bunk bed rooms. Had a fantastic night, the family who own the ranch are lovely. We had a delicious home made roast dinner and then drinks with a lot of dancing. The hosts are great, so nice and have plenty of time to talk to you about the farm etc. I really loved the night we spent here, one of the best during my whole trip in Oz. We did a tractor ride around the farm when we arrived, learnt about the cattle and farm life. Also learnt to crack a whip! Brilliant all round - would love to go back!

We visited as part of an AAT King tour. We knew the whole thing was staged with a small herd of weaners being driven ahead of the coach. We also knew that the conducted tour of the homestead, the home baking and the feeding of the wild kangaroos were all part of the tourist attraction. However, Leona, the owner was a superb raconteur. The personal belongings with in the house were quaint but also told their own story. The garden was beautiful and the whole experience was immensely enjoyable and different to anything we had experienced in Australia. We loved every aspect of this tourist attraction.

This is the quirkiest of overnight stays I've ever experienced. The opportunity to stay at this authentic red Brahman cattle station, or ranch, was part of an adventurous Contiki tour. Upon arrival, we (the group) were shown to our humble living quarters--a small room of two sets of bunk beds. The station also has community bathrooms, which just adds to the adventure. The next thing I knew, we were all being escorted around the station on an old fashioned hayride. The rolling hills and lush grasses were pleasant to view as the sun was setting. That night we were fed the most delicious country roast dinner--from their very own cattle! And dessert? A whoppin' lesson on how to crack a whip and a hefty side of karaoke. What a blast!
