singing ship

This is a local icon and it really does sing in the wind. The Singing Ship is located ontop of a headland giving a glorious view of the coastline. Its a great place for a picnic or a break when driving around the area.

We were here last year, September 2013. One of those beautiful spots in the area! Bring your picnic lunch or grab the pizza or fish and chip near by and have them here! Amazing view!!

We visited this place on our trip from Yeppoon down to Hervey Bay and had breakfast there. Nice to take some photos from the park and from the sea. The ship is located a little bit above the sea, so you have a good all-round view. If it is windy the ship makes some noise. There are also some restaurants and shops located close to the park.
