Such a fantastic collection of bits and pieces from yesteryear. Run by passionate Volunteers. Only $3 per adult. This is a must. We spent 2 hours in there, but you could easily spend all day in there

My 3 boys were all kept very amused in the museum looking and touching the many exhibits - I think we must have been there for 3/4hr without realising it! We didn't have enough time to look at everything and the children weren't ready to leave even though we had to! There are sooooooooooo many conversation starters in this place! It would be pretty hard to take a pram into this museum. It's very reasonably priced. YOu could spend less than an hour here but equally you could spend hours and hours if you had nothing else to do!

Well worth the visit as they have very interesting exhibits on display. The entrance fee is very affordable.

This museum held many interesting items from the past. It was good to see so much displayed for the general public to see. Many old, stone buildings are preserved and also hold items of interest.

Interesting history of the town and surrounding area. Also, plenty of info on sites to visit in the area.

We made a short stop on the way home from Melbourne, after we had been to the dog on the tucker box, which was nice just to stop and take some pics. But we then went in search of food and drove into the township. Found a little café at the bottom end of town which was old but had some nice artifacts displayed there and the food was yummy. The town had some very old historic buildings which were lovely to look at. We saw the rickety old bridge across the river and then went in search of Captain Moonlight's grave who was another bushranger was roamed this area but died in Sydney. Interesting town.

We were recommended this museum by the owner of the top tourist park in town. We found the man who run it, most informative on the history of Gundagai and surrounding areas. Some on the old wears are quite unique. I would highly recommend this Museum if you are in Gundagai

There is a lot of stuff to look at but doesn't look like much upkeep done. You either have a quick look around or you could browse through the many many books and notations.

We called in here on the advice of the of the manager of the Top Tourist park in Gundagai. This is the best small town Museum we have visited in our many years of travelling with our van. The gentleman who runs the museum was most knowledgeable about the history of the Gundagai and surrounding areas. which can't be said about the tourist information centre in town.

The museum houses memorabilia from a past era bringing back memories from my childhood. The collection is outstanding and the Gundagai community should be proud of it which I am sure they are.

A real suprise for the kids to see some relics of yesteryear. Great value for a family day out. We loved it and highly recommended

This is more the real thing to show the local history.I love these old country museums which show life as it was before modern "progress" and towns were important in the fabric of Australian life and communities.
