Super friendly & chatty. Great wines, don't even drink reds and I walked out with two. Very helpful at pointing out other places around the area for us as well as we had just arrived. Will definitely be ordering from their online store.

We too a quick trip to this winery from Eagle Reach Resort nearby. The owner was very welcoming and we tried all the wines and ports, and bought a nice selection for drinking during our road trip. We also bought some oils (lemon myrtle olive oil) and balsamic (blood orange) - together they made a great dressing.There was lovely birds in the trees and a flock of yellow tail black cockatoos paid a visit (being from the UK we still get excited by the raucous birds!).

Visited the winery on a Sunday, and had a very relaxed tasting with John, the owner and vigneron. This is a boutique winery that really seems to place great emphasis on product coming out to a high standard. He gave us background information on each wine we sampled, and some ideas on the prevailing soil types and hints with various wines.Unlike many wineries that we have been to, we actually found a range across white, red and fortified, that we actually enjoyed. Ended up buying a fairly wide variety to take home. We were staying at some cabins about 30 mins. away, and my wife loved the sparkling shiraz so much, that we got back and got it into the freezer to chill (it ended up being a 'dead soldier' pretty quickly after chilling time).

Had a fun time here.. and found a nice bottle of wine too.The owner, John was fantastic and even let us use his canoe for a paddle up and down the river.
