Dungog public pool is honestly a rare gem. My kids love going there every time we're in area and friends who have visited say that their kids still ask about going back there to swim. It's clean, not too much chlorine, has a water slide, diving board and lovely areas for parents to sit if they don't feel like swimming. A very refreshing change from the horrible, overcrowded and heavily chlorinated pools of Sydney. Worth a visit if you're around the area.
