small museum with a little history about the pilliga forest and the surrounding area. There are a few stuffed animals and some aboriginal culture information.
This small museum, associated with the national park service, had a variety of stuffed local animals. The staff was really helpful, providing me with maps all the way back to the smoke (Sydney) and helping me identify the lizards we saw on the local roads.
A well laid out, informative and compact visitors centre to introduce you to the million wild acres of the Pilliga - a great starting point with friendly staff to plan your self guided tour - from the forests long sawmilling history, cultural heritage through to its natural history, the centre caters for everyone
