I came in for a tasting and ended up staying for a cheese plate because the view was spectacular. The cheese was great! They had a range of wines, some of which were good, some were so so. The ladies who worked there were welcoming and happy to chat.

My visit was somewhat disappointing, as the vineyard and cellar door operations are clearly in a big transition to something else--thus no cafe open, the place was lightly manned, and there's definitely an 'on the brink of re-construction' feel to the place. Fair enough, I suppose. The wine tasting area felt a bit strange to me because so many lines of wines with various labels were represented; I hadn't expected that and it confused me. Perhaps the least attractive aspect to the visit was that a large area was devoted to selling cleanskins. I simply didn't expect that level of anonymity in a cellar door experience, and would recommend they dispense with that approach, as it sort of depreciated the experience.

This place has a beautifull view and the Pinot was to die for. The staff were very friendly. There were no negatives. This place is well worth the visit even for a light snack

The woman behind the counter at the cellar door we found to be informative, knowledgable & witty. The wine was distinctive & crisp. We enjoyed the experience.

Had a fantastic wine tasting experience with the gentleman at the cellar door. Made to feel very welcome and enjoyed a range of wines without feeling pressure to buy. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open, but will go back to try once it is.

We visited this vineyard on a tour of west tamar vineyards and arrived at the cellar door tasting area by a lady who offered us a range of locally grown and made wines to taste. We were happily tasting a few and despite being scolded by the lady for describing a particular wine as "sweet" when we should have said "fruity" we decided to buy a couple of bottles. At this point a busload of tourists arrived which seemed to send the jady behind the bar into a rage. When the tourists approached her she berated them for not booking and after some persuasion by the tour leader she reluctently relented and allowed them to have taste. Cost for the tasting suddenly became $5 each (nothing for us) and the glasses we had been drinking from were swiftly packed away and the plastic "glasses" were produced. At this point we decided that retreat was the best option and heading down the road to the Bay of Fires cellar where everyone was welcomed warmly and with respect!Maybe it was a bad day but the whole episode was so awkward and, no doubt, particulaly embarrassing for the tourists. Lets hope there is a change of attitude very soon!!

My friend and I went to the vineyard to do a tasting and possibly purchase some wine. It was day 4 of our lovely trip through Tasmania from Canada. Unfortunately the reception at the vineyard was anything but welcoming. While other wine tasting experiences involved nice and friendly staff and owners the lady at Rosevears was aggressive, hostile and a bit condescending. We felt uncomfortable and the lady was like a used car salesman trying to push a sale. I asked how much the tasting was and was not given a price but told "the idea is you might buy some wine". I explained we were going up the Tamar valley and planned to return and purchase a few bottles at the vineyards we liked, there was no response to this and after a few uncomfortable minutes my friend eventually felt the need to purchase a bottle so we could leave. My advice, only go for a tasting if you know you are going to purchase wine, otherwise it makes for an uncomfortable situation.

テイマー川を見降ろす高台にあるワイナリーでは、カフェレストランを併設しています。ドライブ途中だったのでワインがNGだったのは残念でしたが、美しい景色を眺めながらコーヒーをいただきました。
