colebrook tavern

This is a town we have often passed through, but never stopped. This time we were travelling on bicycles and had the chance to see the town.The Tavern was very kind, and offered us a spot to camp with our small tent for free. Naturally, we had an obligation to support the Tavern buying a few drinks!The Tavern is friendly and a wonderful opportunity to meet the locals. The town is quiet at night and in a beautiful location. The local store is under new management, and the owners open early for breakfast. They were friendly and couldn't do enough to make us welcome.The town has a few gems, among them the church with its recently restored Bell Tower, worth a look.
