It's your typical, energetic movie theatre filled with little things and games to keep you busy. Very spacious!
Great Screens, Good seatsFreshly renovated (not quite done yet but did not adversely affect the experience)+ Have more different kinds of food available then most cinemas- Movies and food is as expensive as all the other cinemas in the region.
occasionnaly, like this theather, going when good movies are presented.. dislike pop corn place always packed, service not adequate, out of price..
This is a place I go to at least once a month. I enjoy going on Tuesdays. It's half price! I really don't know what else to write here and the system won't let me go through
Food is expensive... But the theater is nice, clean, very confortable seats, large screens... lots of parking, close the everything: shooping centers (Carrefour Laval, Target, Walmart, many restaurants around, and right next to the Cosmodome).Worth a stop.Nice place to go see a movie.
This place is one of my favorites for a movie night never disappointed. The have nice seating and big clear screens. Bring the whole family!
The coliseum In our first night in Canada we decided to stay away from the city and we to this movie theater, it's a huge theater with very comfortable leather seats that recline, good sound and huge screens and also with a really nice system were you actually get to pick your seating as you buy your ticket which makes a lot nicer (we have this only in a few upscale theaters here in Chicagoland hopefully others regular theaters will get this system soon), in general great movie experience, they show all the movies in French and English, so make sure you ask for the version you want to see, very friendly staff always smiling, but some did not spoke English.
Can't belive this. Pop corn and pop costs more than 2 seats for a movie., This is insame and bordering on highway robbery. I avoid going there unless I really have to - mind you it's just as bad any where else - and they wonder why people do not go to theaters any more - wee can't afford it.
Lots and lots of people, always full. Comfortable chairs, overpriced popcorn, Hey what do you expect from a Movie theatre. But please clean the garbage pails.
I visit this theatre frequently because they tend to show movies a bit later which is convenient (often around 22h-22h30 instead of 21h15). I never have trouble finding a parking spot and the place is well decorated. It looks like a spaceship and has a nice futuristic theme inside. Like all cinema, the food is very expensive. Ticket prices are within the industry average but unlike their main competitor, they only lower their prices on tuesday. The other big chain offers rebate on wednesday (tuesday's price) and every day (8$ instead of 12$ with a discount card). You can use you Scene card to get small discount at this cinema but you save a bit less than elsewhere. If you use your Scene card at the automatic ticket dispenser, be sure to select the appropriate price, for the machine offers you to pay the regular price as well as the discounted price...
Entertaining movie theatre. Theirs arcades....restaurants to grab food and go watch your movie...the place is fairly new... i reccommend this theatre. they have both movies in french and english.
We love the Colossus! For afternoons, evenings, just adults or with kids... But, our latest enjoyment is the "Family Favourites". Each Saturday at 11am you can bring the kids to see an old kids movie for only 2.50. check out the listings on the cineplex.com website (under Events). I find that I am really enjoying showing my kids the movies that I have watched at their age!
Very good equipped.Much better than Guzzo.Little bit expensive, but it worht.I specially like the moving chairs.
this is one way to enjoy a direct transmission of a performance without going to NYC and spending a lot of money, great for the general public if they like opera
For anyone living in the Laval area, the Colossus is conveniently located. We especially enjoy the opera matinees presented by the MET Opera. It's always a full house.
