harrison lake & hot springs

My fiancé and I liked that it was the off season. We didn't have to fight for parking and we walked along the quiet streets and enjoyed each other's company. Very romantic. The only downside is that for a couple of chefs, there aren't many good restaurant choices.

The lake is one of many in BC, but the location of the small village of Harrison Hot Springs on the south end of Harrison Lake is totally a wondrous place. Travel by Automobile and Seaplane to this nature playground. Stay hours or days and enjoy many things to do. Every time I visit it gets better.

The environment is really nice, especially all lit up at night. The pools are a great temperature so you can stay in them comfortably for longer periods of time. Lots of young children and families splashing, yelling, jumping around (go during the week to avoid the children or late at night- no children in outdoor pools after 10pm) Beverages are allowed, so bring a plastic cup/water bottle! no glass permitted.

I love the pools and the surrounding scenery is awesome. Every time I visit Harrison Hot Springs I come home feeling very relaxed and peaceful, always looking forward to the next visit.

Most of the year, the lake is haunting like Loc Ness. The lake is very long and ends as snow packed mountains. In the summer, on a sunny day, it is also very beautiful and the beaches are nice to walk on. You can see how the legend of the Sasquatch is found there.

We stay there for our 46th anniversary. We had a couples massage and enjoyed the hot spring pools. It was very relaxing.

Pools were great, hotel was nice, copper room restaurant a bit pricey but good (live band great). Did I mention the pools are great and very rejuvenating.

Pools are relaxing but if you want to be sure few children then go during weekday. Go to the indoor pools early morning to avoid having kids splashing and running about.

Average hotel with healing mineral pools. Dirty carpets. Room worn around the edges. I probably would stay here again just for the swimming pool.

Wounderfull.Great place to go if you like the outdoors and the views are great. Don't forget the hot pools!!

My wife and I stay at Harrison Hot Springs every year for my wife's birthday. The rooms are clean and cozy. The hot springs are nice and warm and you can bring your drinks with you as long as they are in plastic cups. We have a great stay every time.

The warm and healing water of the spring re-energizes your body. The indoor pool was meant to be a place to relax , but on one occasion a couple brought their little girl who was shrieking at the top of her voice ,and it was pretty annoying cuz it lasted for a few minutes.

We spend a lot of out summer weekend at Harrison Hot Springs. On the hot sunny days our family and cousins family spend the day at the beach. Its a great play for the kids to play in the sand or swim. As the kids got older they now play catch with a football or go for a walk along the beach or to the hot springs. There are lots of festival throughout the summer that you can also take in. If you don't bring your own food there are numerous restaurants along the beach. There is also a small grocery store. Most days there is a nice breeze off the lake that make the hot day sunny days more comfortable.

It was good and relaxing. There are pools with different temperatures. Quite nice to go to the hot pools when the weather is cold!

We appreciated the friendly service by all staff and the excellent buffet breakfast which even provided good selections for my Vegan diet. The excellent Hot pools were easily accessible. The dinner menu at the Lakeside Restaurant should include more vegetarian/vegan options. We'll be back!
