Don't expect a good reception in the bar unless you're a "guest' of West Coast resorts.My husband and I went to the bar on a Sunday afternoon for a drink before our flight back to Vancouver, which is something we have done many times over a period of several years and never had a problem.The bar was full and we managed to find a seat but were rudely told by the bar tender that unless we were West Coast Resort guests we could not be served and we were told to leave (not asked). On leaving I told a member of staff standing by the door that there should be a sign up saying that only West Coast customers were allowed in the bar and was told there was one on a door post, once shown, very small and not easily seen. We were told we could eat in the restaurant, We didn't want to eat, we just wanted a drink. Definitely not recommended for the casual traveler and, hopefully, they don't treat locals the same. Very poor attitude among all of the staff.We left and went to the golf course, much friendlier and accommodating.
