the pugwash farmers' market

Pugwash is along the Northumberland Strait. It is a small community. They have an informative visitor center. Pugwash is known world wide as the Peace City. Albert Einstein and other notable thinkers had met here in the mid 1900s. The park along the Pugwash River is a place of greeting, playing and watching. The young boys enjoy diving off the pier. The main industry is salt mining.

This market is thriving with plenty of delicious goodies, as well as everything you need for gift ideas, dinner parties, and just relaxing at the beach.They open at 8:30 and go til 1pm so there is lots of time to grab your local hand made treats!

Great place to find hand made, homemade and home grown products. Beautiful location in the heart of downtown Pugwash.
