I will tell you this about the clock museum: They have a lot of clocks. There is a great deal of very interesting history and the guy who took us on the tour was very informative. The family really liked it. It was quite a bit more engaging than I thought it would be, so I will defiantly give this place a good review. However, I will say this... if you are not terribly interested in clocks, it gets old quick.
The Canadian Clock Museum Located in Deep River Ontario is easy to find. A sign on HWY 17 directs you to the building. Immediately upon entering we became fascinated by the vast array of clocks on display. We arrived close to closing time but the curator on duty invited us in and gave us the full tour. He was well versed in the history of the clocks displayed. Some of the clocks dated back well over 100 years. As we were leaving he came outside and pointed out several sundials which we had missed on the way in. The admission for adults is $5.00 ea. If you find yourself travelling HWY. 17 west of Pembroke it is well worth the time to stop and check it out.
