carruther’s creek golf and country club

The only place in the GTA that I know of to offer FootGolf, a combination of golf and soccer! What a fantastic day out for something different to do...great for all ages!

Carruther's Creek has two 9 Hole courses Lake Breeze and Whistling Wind. Both course are kept well and the staff are super friendly. Lake Breeze is the larger of the two courses and will present challenges for a seasoned golfer. Whistling Wind is a charming "pitch and putt" course. The real deal for Whistling Wind is the Twilight Rate of $10.75 for nine holes all season long. On the off season they offer Virtual golfing. I play the course of a weekly basis and will continue to do so.

This is a pitch and putt course and well maintained.The downside,, they have started Footgolf,, and expect that this will blend with golfing.. it has proven unsuccessful for golfers.. In fact this has made golfing at Carruthers a nightmare.. I have been informed by management that Footgolf is here to stay. It is a sweet deal for twilight at $10.75 ,, but sadly it comes with a bitter game of golf
