It's a bit out there, and the road is nausea inducing, but worth the trip. Chorro Azul is a short hike off the road, paved. Ends in a small waterfall with a blue pool that you can swim in and jump from a short cliff. Refreshing after a meal at a lechonera.

Smaller and less populated than the National Park, this forrest is beautiful and holds the Blue Pool!!

Nice forest. If you like to take photos of nature, this is a nice place. A place to go for a picnic, or to the near by Guavate ( pork heaven) Don't go there on Sundays. The car jam is terrible. Puertoricans love to go there on Sundays for the pork dishes, which is good, and for the dance places.

The forest is really big, so you want to select a route to travel so you can see most of it (by car). There's a place called Charco Azul where you find a river where you can swim and have a nice picnic. There are several places to sit and enjoy nature. The downside is that there are no bathrooms 24/7 (except the forest), but if you rent a place with the picnic tables you can get a key for the bathrooms.Other than that is a really nice place

Ir en grupo a este hermoso lugar no tiene comparación! Pues si bien es cierto que necesitas ir bien equipado con lo básico para que tu picnic no se arruine pues no tienes un lugar que pueda remediarte sin tener que ir alejado de las cabañas. Pues aquí puedes hacer reuniones familiares, de clase, cumpleaños etc. hasta puedes inventar para hacer un BBQ mientras compartes, juegas tal vez domino y los chicos corretean por los alrededores. En un grupo en verdad que se lo van a disfrutar al máximo!!
