Definitively the best in all philippines and probably one of the most beautifull in the world, really worth the visit and walking on that heritage streets with a piece of story on every corner
This is my first time to see the dancing fountain at Plaza Salcedo, the show is good. It reminds me the light show that the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. So now here in Philippines we can offer this kind of show.
Quite a surprise to find this degree of sophistication in the impressive and mesmerising local fountain light show- for free! This amazing highlight would easily find its place in any major world city. Nice to watch before proceeding to supper on the Crisologo or elsewhere. Two performances during the weekend, otherwise once-nightly.
It wasn't anything too awesome. I guess it's just something to go to since you're there in vigan anyway. It's also free so why not right? If you have nothing better to do. It's not horrible but isn't amazing either in my opinion. You're gonna get wet too if the winds are strong. It goes on for 30 mins and i think they show it twice in a night.
A great free treat in the city centre every evening at 7.30 for 30 minutes, 2 shows at weekends (second at 8.30pm). Interesting choice of music for the fountain light show but very good. Shame that they do not allow food and drink as sitting with a beer would be more enjoyable. Get their early if you want a seat on one of the terrace benches.
Great to see it. It's beyond our expectation. Very crowded but fun, it's worth to see. Don't miss it.
i was reluctant at first because i thought it was just going to be like the symphony of lights show in HK but to my surprise, i enjoyed it! better than the light show of HK. Quick Tip: Thank God we didnt get wet!
Very impressive dancing lights show! It can really get very crowded. We were a group of 20. My tip is if you are traveling with elderly, like I was with my mom (77yo), is to have a snack at Jollibee or Chowking, sit in the 2nd floor dining area by the window. You'll be more comfy & have a great view of the show. Without being stepped on or getting sweaty.
Came here January 2015 during the Pope's visit and there was also a town Fiesta. There were a lot of people so during the regular dancing fountain display the show lasted longer. Seen to other public dancing fountain shows here in the Phils but this one tops them all with the grandness. Aside from the array and variety of water pressured fountains it also comes with sounds and lights.
I did not expect such a wonderful attraction in Vigan and it was FREE ! You might have to get there early to get a good seat but worth the wait. Sit on the side that projects the lights so that you get a good view of the images. The water dancing to the music from Titanic was amazing - got goosebumps watching and listening. Well done to the guy who thought of this as it truly is one of the great attractions for visitors to Vigan of all ages, from all countries. Great free entertainment !
A must see at 7.30 PM every day ... so I'm told. Really you should NOT miss it. A about 30 minute show of water and colors!!
We were able to grab a good viewing place at the side. I was not expecting it to be that good. It looked like they really invested in it and the show was actually quite long as it lasted 30 min. The lights were great and songs were both classical and modern. Some of the onlookers were in for a shock as they were drenched with water at the side of the fountain with the illuminated Philippine flag. Apparently that was also part of the show. It was fun though with most of the people who got wet stayed there in the middle of it and enjoyed as the fountain shot up and sprayed all around them :)
45 minutes of dancing fountains in Las Vegas style. different lights, differnt rhythm, very nice to watch. Additional lasershow, you only can see from the front. Beside the fountains there is a place with LED-highlitet shape of Philippines. Take care when you are on this place - when dancing fountains start, you will get wet on this place too
Expect to get wet. If you have issues with crowds, this isn't for you. Once the fountain show starts, even if you have positioned yourself in front of the fountain, people will push you out of the way and grab your space.
We were entertained by the Vegas-style dancing fountain and it was fun trying not to get wet on the side fountain. However, this could have been placed somewhere else. The area where they have the fountain has a lot of history and this is now overshadowed by the dancing fountain.
