This place is far from the city's busy culture and not at all overcrowded so it is safe to say that it's one of the best place to relax. There's about 3 sections of the pool (very wide). The facilities are great (looks new), the entire resort is impressively clean and the ambiance in totality is refreshing and comforting.I have no idea about the costings of this place's services since I went as a guest of a beach club member. Yes, you can avail of a membership and take advantage of the resort's facilities for free.
We came here for the beach, pool and just to relax. We stayed in their Seabreeze apartments. At Php9800 a night for an apartment that has two single beds, it is pretentious, overpriced and a waste. The tiny apartment balcony overlooks trees. It is far away from everything so one needs a car, or one is at the mercy of the shuttle service. The room furnishings were sparse, uncomfortable (beds are single size not twin) to sit on (sofas and dining chairs). There is no internet one is not allowed to cook, but there are electric cookers, no microwave. The staff said there is wifi but only for the owners of the units (?) .The newly built sports club was nice with a brand new gym, basketball/cum badminton courts. Lots of space for lying by the pool and more kiddie friendly features. The beach club area was more crowded, nice sandy beaches. The food on the resort is unmemorable, bland and not up to a 5 star standard. They claim exclusivity, but it all feels ordinary. They say there is intnernet in the big public spaces, but all our attempts to connect to the net in a variety of public areas couldn't even get us to connect to ANY wifi. For the price of $225 a night, there are many other places one could rather go of better value and more spectacular views.
A nice escape from the city. The food can still be improved though. The view is breathtaking and its great that its not crowded when we went.
This is a secret place in Luzon that is not discovered yet by the general public, partly because of the membership entrance requirement. However if you know someone who is a member, give it a try. Paradise. The drive is easy. once you are out of Manila, I believe the difficulty of the drive is getting out of Manila, but hey, that is Manila's problem. The NLEX and SCTEX reminds me of the motorways in Europe, very scenic! The drive itself (again once out of Manila) is very relaxing. The golf course will take your breath away. It is the best golf course I have seen so far. The facilities are amazing. It is a place where you can breath. You really feel that the establishments are well though of. The buildings are NOT cramped in a very limited space. No cutting corners in the design of the buildings. The staff are down to earth. I heard the Ayala hired them from the local neighborhood in Morong to give them some form of livelihood. I will come back again next year. See you Anvaya!
This review is specifically for the golf course. To go straight to the point, this is one of the most beautiful golf courses you can find in the Philippines, if not in Asia. The scenery is fantastic, specially at the back nine where green, sand, sea and sky meet. Special holes no 11 and 12, where one can practically take a dip in the ocean in between putts. The course itself is very well-maintained, the fairways are immaculate, the greens fast and the changes in elevation present a challenge. Yet is is a very playable course, with a good risk-reward ratio. Just be careful to put your ball in the fairway, specially hole no. 15.The only downside is the long drive from Manila (can take up to three hours), and the best way to get there is via NLEX and SCTEX. To make it even more worthwhile, one can stay the night in one of the accommodations (members or member guests only) for an extended weekend.Service is excellent, and the place is like paradise tucked away in a corner of the Philippines.
First of all, it's by membership only. We were invited by a friend and happy to have stayed. Wishing we stayed more than one night....Such a relaxing place. Food is delicious, reasonably priced, service is excellent. Breakfast is included and they have a variety of dishes. Staff is very professional, helpful, and respectful.During the early evening we had a variety of snacks: Halo Halo, Pizza, fresh mango juice, and Mojito drink!Enjoy your time, have a night swimming, take a walk along the beach in the morning.... tour the whole facility. Drawback, you gotta pay for use of the gym (sigh!) if not a member. It takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours to get there....experience the new freeway (SCTEX?).
This is a resort by membership only. We are very blessed we have a friend who is a member. We have been coming back to Anvaya Resort for years now, doing day tours or staying overnight. Every time we have family members or friends who come to visit us from abroad we always bring them to this resort. The ambiance is awesome. The staff are very courteous and friendly, as well as knowledgeable on the true meaning of customer services and guest relations. The place is well kept and maintained, greens are well manicured. Food is great, price-wise and its savory aroma. Rooms and linens are clean. Their beach and pools are also well kept. There is only one concern that we hope the management can do something about it. The door to their dining at the Bamboo Resto is difficult to manage especially when you have both hands full. There is a step to this entrance and it is not wide enough once you manage to open the door. There is a chance you trip and fell when you are not watching your steps, although the staff are fast and quick to assist you until you are seated.
I got in the resort through a member friend and my partner and I stayed overnight. I love it that only few people have access to the resort because the place does not get too crowded. The main pool was huge and it has jacuzzi at the side area. It was also easy to go around the place because of the golf carts, but we opted to walk around the grounds and enjoy the fresh air and chase some ducks! They have a good selection of food, not that much, but it was good enough. I also love it that you can order puto bumbong and bibingka by the poolside, and the famous multi-colored drink is really good (although took a long time to serve)! We also walked towards the gym area which is far from the main area, I guess that's the reason we were the only people there. The gym is really nice and the pool is nice too. We were able to swim all by ourselves after running around the cove for 30 minutes.I was able to relax (and eat a lot!) during our vacation there. Laid-back, just chilling by the bar in the afternoon drinking tequila, swimming, lounging around and not much people to bother you... that to me is a very good definition of how to just relax and enjoy the moment.
I've been to Anvaya more times than I can remember. my kids grew up going to this beach. The rooms are not as great as it used to be. They used to provide combs, toothbrush and toothpaste sets, and had folded animal towels when you arrive. some of the items in the room already look worn and needs replacing. The kids playroom leaves much to be desired. This used to be so nice, there would be someone manning the room and they used to hold activities here, when we went, it was such a mess. The toys looked old and dirty. There were crackers all over the floor, I really wish they'd do something about it, but other than that, Anvaya is still a wonderful place to go to with the kids. The pool area is big, the beach is great. The food is better. The bathrooms are always clean and dry and I love that they have separate showers for kids, men and women, it's never crowded. They have fun activities and now they have a sports and golf area which is really nice as well. It's always better to stay at the villas than the verandas just because it's closer. The golf carts are almost always readily available. The staff are friendly and very helpful as well.
This place is exclusively for members only. We stayed overnight courtesy of a friend's membership. The resort is around 45 minutes from Subic freeport and is not so hard to find since signs are adequately placed to guide you. The resort has a golf course, recreation areas like beach, swimming pools, basketball courts, tennis courts, etc. Beach was clean and there were fishes too. Kids will love the toddler pool complete with colored floating balls (like in ball pits). Shower areas were clean and always sand free. Food was good, but can take a long time to get served during lunch/dinner rush hours. Check in and Check out was a breeze too. Kudos to the staff for being professional and helpful all the time. Perfect place to unwind. Just a last note on the beach, the sand on the beach is not as smooth as the other beaches in Morong. There were some rocks and sea plants so best to wear some type of protection for the feet.
We were able to stay in the place because they opened bookings for people who joined the recent triathlon race.First off, we had some reservation problems because when my husband initially contacted them, they replied that reservation is not opened yet and they will just inform him when it is open. Reality, no one contacted him. When he followed up they said they were fully booked already at the hotel so our choices are in the more expensive and farther condo units. The place was really nice and service at the rooms and restaurants were great. We had no problems. Breakfast was provided during our 3 days stay as they do not allow bringing in of food. Unless you own the condo where you can use your kitchen. The food at the restaurant were good enough and not too pricey as you can share the food among the group.Pools and other facilities were ok. Restrooms are always clean and available everywhere. Although I hope they further improve their kids' indoor playarea. Make it more fun and have someone from their staff maintain the cleanliness of the area once in a while. Because when I brought my child there, the whole place was a mess. There were a few kids playing with the toys and watching tv. But it was a mess. It would be nice if the children's caretakers clean up their child's own mess. But let's admit it, some don't care. I hope they put more activities inside than just TV. So kids don't just sit and watch.Overall, I guess we will still come back to spend some relaxation and down time from the city. They have lovely views of the nature and really good just for walking around.
It's an exclusive resort but you can get in if endorsed by a member, in our case the annual triathlon. Beautiful landscaping at the entrance leads you to a very relaxing lobby. Checking in was fast, we had a garden room for 6,000++pesos w/c includes buffet breakfast for 2 adults & 2 kids. Food was good & reasonably priced. Staff very friendly & attentive. Lots of indoor & outdoor activities for kids!
The emphasis of this members-only resort is tranquility and escape from the city. So you are smack in the jungle, with comfortable casitas built quite apart as to provide the privacy their guests need, staff who are all ready to cater to your every need, excellent facility especially the pool, golf, fitness center, and the beach. The rooms are well equipped, nicely furnished, luxurious and very clean. The AC blew too cold and there was no way of turning it down..we tried. The shuttle service was very convenient. The food was just okay and it's unfortunate that you don't have a choice (can't bring food from outside) so if you're just having a sandwich or typical filipino food, you are fine, just don't expect any gourmet high end stuff. My only complaint was my encounter with the receptionist/manager of the Spa. After having a wonderful massage (facility & massage were excellent by the way - what one would expect in a high end resort), as I was waiting for my charges to be finalized, I commented ever so lightly, that it would be wonderful if the spa would provide a cool cucumber or mint water after every treatment...the lady (receptionist?manager?) couldn't believe her ears and reacted so downright rude! She said, "oh but excuse me MISS...we do provide water here...that is our usual service...did you want ME to get you a glass of water? (looks glaring at me)" . Me cowering "oh that would be lovely..yes?" I don't understand it...she cannot seem to accept criticism and almost lunged at me. It would be nice if she would just right away apologize and get me a glass of water with a huge smile on her face ...no snippy comments necessary. Later on, while having snacks at the cafe, the same woman was almost tripping over her feet, escorting an elderly, rich looking member to the front entrance...Maybe she just doesn't like invited guests and prefers members? This kind of attitude to any guests, would not be tolerated at any Four Seasons hotel...that's all I can say! Anyway, got over it as we drove away the following day and marveled at how beautiful the grounds is. A true nature retreat.
Hooligans-free place. We left our gadgets and every valuables on our table to enjoy the beach and swimming pool but nothing has been lost. Everything will be paid upon exit. My friend had a card wherein our expenses were stored during the stay and had a really good time and think about payments after all.Cold-served Water stations on the beach (w/ paper cups)Good 3G service receptionClean wash and bath rooms (toilet papers. hair dryer. spinner for wet swim wears. shampoo and soap. warm shower. rent a towel for just P50. rent a locker)Clean beach shores and pool. (jacuzzi. swimming pool is only 4ft. deep)Friendly staffs.Clean Environment.
This is my experiences when i visited Anvaya Cove in Subic few weeks ago i just saw their website www.anvayacove.ph and was astounded there! Here we go...Paradise is a religious or metaphysical term for a place in which existence is positive, harmonious and eternal. It is conceptually a counter-image of the supposed miseries of human civilization, and in paradise there is only peace, prosperity, and happiness. Paradise is a place of contentment, but it is not necessarily a land of luxury and idleness. Paradise is often described as a "higher place", the holiest place, in contrast to this world, or underworlds such as Hell.THE FAMOUS ANVAYA COVEIt's a privilege for me when my friend invited me to see and feel the sophisticated Anvaya Cove. After more or less 2 hours of travel from Quezon City via NLEX to Subic, I extremely got curious why Anvaya became popular and globally acclaimed. When we entered the Subic premise, I felt something that I haven't experienced before. A Paradise!Absolutely the moment you see the blue Bay (is it a subic bay?), you will surely be amazed as it reflects everything above it beautifully! The ships, boats, and so on. Whoa! I was so stunned! Then eventually we arrived to the entrance of Anvaya and grabbed the opportunity to behold the beauty of Anvaya along the way towards the gate. Yes you can amazingly see the whole Anvaya Cove at a glimpse as you approach it! You can see the beach, golf, and the white sand and the famous architecture of Anavya Cove! Then we walked around the Premise and I really appreciated the happy staff in the entrance. As we went thourgh, I noticed something so unique. It's not their faces or whatsoever you may think of.SHE HUGGED ME!The ambiance! The Premium feel! It might be my first time but no! There is something that invigorated my soul! The Nature is literally embracing me! She is seemingly telling me to let go of everything that was happened in my past and face the present with new beginning. How comforting the nature is!We sat down at the dining table and ordered some foods. I was so exhausted at that time and of course I'm hungry! (Hahaha I Can't live without foods! Just take away everything in me but please not food!)I savored the freshly cooked foods and whoa! It was irresistable! Their tropical theme of serving foods was so mouth-watering and you have no choice but to indulge yourself with it!After I have eaten, I grabbed again the opportunity to wander around.THE PERFECT PLACE FOR FAMILY THAT LOVES NATURE AND EACH OTHER!There is still so many adjectives you can use to describe the Anvaya Cove aside from beauty, ambiance, and premium feel there is something that made it to stand-out among the rest – FAMILY AND NATURE!Anvaya Cove is designed exclusively and specially for family that loves nature and its benefits. It is only for those who want to enjoy the moments with their family members or friends at the bosom of astounding beauty of mother earth! No drinking alcohol, no smoking, and no pollution! All you can see are the joy of the family members bonding each other with love and peace that are priceless and only a paradise can offer!A PARADISEIf you want a holistic place that no stain of pollution inside and out, this is the perfect place for you! No wickedness, no crimes, no mess, no worries! You will perfectly enjoy God's presence in that place! You will absolutely enjoy with your family as all you have to do there is to talk and bond to each other and hear each other’s stories with the waves of the sea synchronized by the cold breeze, and astounding nature's embrace!ANVAYA COVE IS A PARADISE IN DISGUISE INDEED!
