It was my son's birthday and he loves the beach and the water slides so I thought it would be perfect to take him here. Everything was great, the place was lovely, I fell in love with the bathroom mostly hehe. The beach was awesome and we enjoyed the waterslide so much. We went in February, so it was a dead Friday afternoon. It was good as it felt like we have rented out the whole resort. There are only 3 cabanas available so if you come late, tough luck. The weather was gloomy so it began to sprinkle. They don't have covers for the cabanas like other cabanas do so all our things got wet including our pillows, picnic mat, food etc. We were lucky enough to bring a blanket big enough to cover the cabana and asked the staff to help us tie it on the back so it would block the rain from coming in. They were helpful but it was such a hassle. We had to ask for help twice before someone came to assist. Other than that, it was just a pleasant experience for us. We would definitely be coming back. Also, if you're coming in a group, be ready to pay extra for tables and chairs 200 each set
Nice place with multiple pools to choose from especially for young tykes. The beach was small but tidy. Inexpensive food can be ordered and eaten by the beach. Rest rooms, changing area are always tended to and very clean.
Clean and well-maintained resort.. i was lucky to have grabbed a one bedroom unit in their nautilus condominium. I hope to rent it to others for business purposes and im praying it will be a good investment.
Walk in visit with hubby & 7mo baby. The beach was perfect ;) food can be ordered; prices are reasonable. Staff were accommodating & friendly. Facilities are well taken cared of :) too bad no hot/warm pool ;(((
Our family went here to celebrate my husband's birthday & we really had a great time.I think this is the cleanest & most comfortable resort I've been so far. They have several pools to choose from, very cozy cabanas, amenities are superb ..beach not crowded + polite n helpful staff/lifeguards all over the place so u will feel safe tlga.will definitely go back here!
Aquaria is an awesome beach getaway, but wait till you see the Playa Calatagan residential Beach resort which you can own and as a property owner aside from Aquaria resort which is adjacent w playa ..this resort has an amazing infinity pool, clear sea and breathtaking serenity. WOw ++++
We have reached this place during an ocular visit to check which beach resort will best suit us. During our visit the place is not yet completed and still under going renovation. Though under going renovation, the lobby or reception is quite attractive. The pool side is quite big and the slide is attractive as well. The beach side is clean and so as the beach. Amenities are also superb. All in all, this is recommendable but it surely needs a bigger budget.
We had a team outing last April 25, 2014 it was a nice place beach and pool in one plus a modern set up of a resort.Nice shower room. You can bring food without corkage fee and minimal on alcohol over all stay okay
We went here to have our group outing and we have no idea how to get here or what it looks like. Turns out it was just easy to go here. The resort is clean, they have separate places where you can eat. If you brought your own food, you can just rent tables and chairs and have it set up near the shore. The beach front is shaded enough and there is a restaurant as well. We also rented a cabana if you want a place to sleep during the afternoon. The pool area is clean, but according to my friends the water had a slippery feeling. They have a slide which you can enjoy. I tried it and loved it. The beach itself was a little hard to walk into, there were a lot of seaweeds. They have shower stalls in the beach and pool area. What I liked about this place was their bath house, its very clean and has individual closed stalls. I heard they're going to make this an exclusive place and they are selling condominium units there. We went on a weekday so the people in there was quite few only. This place is highly recommended.
GOOD-superb amenities-they have more than 5 pools-cabanas are just a stone away from the pool-the sand on the beach is just ok (not fine not rough)-nice slide-nice shower rooms-food is great and affordableNEEDS IMPROVEMENT-more shower/toilet or changing room pls esp near the beach area-your cabanas should have safety box with lock and key (for the price of php1500) so we can leave our valuables while swimming-other people will pass thru your cabana to get in the pool (no privacy for php1500)-i dont know why the water in the pool is so warm (like hotspring)-im sure you will have accomodation soon for those who wants to stay overnightTIPS-dont bring food (tho they allow) coz u cant eat it in your cabana anyways the food in the resto is ok-change your swimming attire once you arrived so you dont have to walk all the way near the entrance-as of today they have daytour only-no beachbed or cottages on the beach-get ready to sweat if u want to try the slide while carrying a gigantic floater i wish they have pulleys so guests dont need to carry those-if u have tall kids their rate is same with the adults
We went to Aquaria Beach Resort last Holy Week (thursday). Lots of people, but it's good we came early to pick a good spot by the beach. 3 hours drive from Manila. P400 entrance for adults and P200 for kids below 4ft. I was impressed with the huge swimming pool. The kiddie pool has different paraphernalias that the kids and the kids at heart will really enjoy like big water guns, the arch with water sprays, mushroom-shaped shower and green ball of water falls. The kiddie pool extends to a river pool then the deeper pool where you will fall into from the 3-storey giant slide. My 8-yr. old son and my hubby took the slide a number of times and they said it was really fun. I chickened out upon reaching the top so i wasn't able to try it. Then, the beach is great! Can't compare it to Boracay or Palawan sand coz hey this is Batangas. But sand in Aquaria is fine beige and not rocky like in Matabungkay. Most importantly, the water is clean and my 4-yr old nephew even caught a live starfish. The water is also calm and shallow so its very safe for kids. Their bath house is perfect! I've never seen a resort with this kind of hotel-type bath house. Usually, bathing and changing is the most tiring thing to do of all when in resorts. But Aquaria bath house is just so inviting.
