It was already almost a year ago when I visited the place. We wanted to experience the sunrise at Itbayat so we headed up quite early. The viewdeck can be accessed by vehicles as it is just by the main road (rough road, not paved).The viewdeck deck area was enclosed, and properly maintained. It was first of all clean. There is a small wooden where you can climb up to enjoy the views from there without any obstruction. There are benches along the side so you can actually sit there on top.There is a small picnic hut below where you can sit and have breakfast, as well as 2 other wooden gazebos/huts where you can hang out if you want.When we were there, our local guide was able to pick white snails, which apparently is an edible delicacy there.
