This was my first to the temple despite my no. of visits to the city in the past. Very spiritual place. Neat and clean temple. Devotees may like to visit the temple.
Very good management by the trust and voulnteers there. Holy Place and its a must visit place in mumbai......................
If you want to reach by train, you have to catch a slow local towards churchgate from Dadar. There is a Mahalaxmi station itself on the route from where you can catch taxi. The Mahalaxmi temple is near Haji Ali.It is very peaceful and serene place. There are idols of Mahalaxmi Mahasaraswati and Mahakali .
the experience here was great. a quick advice is to walk near the property instead of driving to closest point. you can have divine blessings in less than 20 minutes or so
another must-see place in mumbai.. it's compulsory stop on the mumbai darshan bus route. it is beautiful and very serene. it requires a bit of walking to get to the main temple, but is worth it.
If you worship lakshmi godess or even if you don't, go visit and pray that you get blessings of the godess in terms of wealth soon. such a nice narrow lane to follow and the stair case.
Very venerated by the Hindu business community that lives all around. Adjoining Haji Ali draws its own crowds. One cannot escape the crowds on festive days.
This is one of the old temple of Goddess laxmi near to sea.. It is beautiful art representing.. one should go with friends and enjoy the beautiful place..
Went to the temple on sarurday.Beautiful temple with a very ancient story and great softness of mother felt there.Be careful with your belongings and choose a not very busy day.
Since childhood been visiting this temple every year on navaratri. find peace of mind whenever you visit. One should also visit sadhubela. only disappointment is that the temple has blocked the way to the shore for security reasons.
We visit this place every Diwali, post our Puja. on that day the place is very crowded, however the arrangements are superb. well laid out shoe stands. proper security and scheduling of devotees for entry into the temple complex. Parking on this day however in the vicinity is a big problem. But for seeking divine blessings. one has to undergo some pain. post the darshan, one can feast on yummy snacks in the temple complex
i have been going there with my wife quite often from last 3 years and since last year have been goin with family
After visiting Marine Drive, we went to Mahalakshmi Temple. As the parking is not available near the temple, we parked on the roadside. It is one of the most famous temples of Mumbai on Bhulabhai Desai Road at Mahalaxmi. It is also very old temple like Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple. There are 3 idols of Goddess "Mahalaxmi", "Mahakali" and Mahasaraswati". It is also near the sea and from one side of temple, you can take look of great Arabian Sea.It is very famous temple and people from India mostly from other parts of Maharashtra comes to pray here.It is also a excellent category temple and suggest people to visit.
